After the 2013 film ‘Olympus Has Fallen,’ this is the second episode in the ‘Has Fallen’ trilogy. Following the death of the British london has fallen minister, US President Benjamin Asher and his entourage fly to London to attend the burial. However, civilian life in the city comes to a halt as an army of terrorists unleashes startling pandemonium.

Aamir Barkawi, a criminal genius, accepts responsibility and promises to assassinate US President Barack Obama on live television. While the British suspect foul activity on the inside, Banning is tasked with protecting Asher from the horde of terrorists. The film is a blockbuster in every sense of the word, with twists and turns galore and a star-studded cast that includes Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart, and Gerard Butler.

Let us now analyse the final minutes one by one if you want to follow the fast-paced finish in greater depth. WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD. • 1 Synopsis of the plot of London Has Fallen • 2 London Has Fallen Ending: Does The President Die? • 3 Is Aamir Barkawi alive or dead? • 4 Does Benjamin Asher Leave His Presidency? Does Mike Leave The Job? Synopsis of the plot of London Has Fallen Aamir Barkawi, a mastermind terrorist and worldwide arms dealer who is on the Global Most Wanted List, attends his daughter’s wedding.

In the meantime, G8 intelligence detects a signal from the area and launches a drone strike. Barkawi and his daughter both appear to be dead.

The tale picks up two years after the prologue. The death of British Prime Minister James Wilson has cast a pall over international affairs, with political leaders from the G7 attending his funeral.

With each country’s own security staff, the event quickly becomes a spectacle. The funeral is portrayed in the media as the most secure occasion on the planet. The US president, Benjamin Asher, is among the dignitaries, but Secret Service Director Lynne Jacobs understands how difficult it would be to protect him. She coordinates the itinerary with the President’s personal bodyguard, Mike Banning, from Stansted Airport to Somerset House via a 12-minute Marine One ride to St.

Paul’s Cathedral, where the burial ceremony will take place. Because their plates are already full, the British are unable to provide further security. Later, we learn that the security services are home to a slew of uniformed terrorists. The action begins as President Obama arrives at Somerset House and shakes hands with Prime Minister Clarkson. Uniformed gunners begin shooting rounds at civilians before they can assess the severity of the impact.

We observe horrific explosions on St. Paul’s Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, and the Chelsea Bridge not long after. While on a visit of Buckingham Palace, Italian Prime Minister Antonio Gusto dies. Tsutomu Nakushima, the Japanese Prime Minister, suffers a similar fate while caught in traffic after the bridge explosion. As the vice president assumes command of the situation from the White House, Benjamin Asher and Mike Banning must now withstand the damage on the ground in order to survive the chaos.

London Has Fallen Ending: Does The President Die? The President’s protection is a top issue for Mike Banning and most US officials. As a result, Banning transports the President to an MI6 safe house managed by Jacquelin “Jax” Marshall immediately after the attack.

They receive a communication from the vice president at the haven, who informs them that a delta team is on its way to rescue the President. They discover a delta force outside the safe home perimeter within 30 minutes after receiving the message. However, a legitimate delta force would not be able to reach the area in such a short amount of time, leading Banning to believe that their site has been compromised.

Banning and Asher, on the other hand, manage to flee the safe house after discovering a bulletproof car in the garage. They london has fallen almost to a secure area when they are T-boned by a truck. The terrorists kidnap Asher and take him to a construction site.

london has fallen

Mike, on the other hand, catches up with the true london has fallen force and arrives at the destination. It’s already eight o’clock, and Kamran Barkawi, Aamir Barkawi’s son, is attempting to put Asher to death. Mike, on the other hand, arrives just in time. They depart the site after a firefight. Mike begs the delta force captain to charge the explosives he placed on a pipe earlier when they are surrounded.

While the building is engulfed in flames, Mike and Asher london has fallen a leap of faith through the elevator shaft. Finally, the Delta Force checks the rubble and discovers the President alive and well. Is Aamir Barkawi alive or dead?

With the help of Mike Banning’s inventiveness, the Delta team successfully rescues the President. However, near the end of the film, Barkawi makes a phone call to Vice President Allan Trumbull, threatening that the war will continue. Aamir’s desire for vengeance has grown as the US drones have killed his daughter and now Kamran.

Trumbull, on the other hand, requests that he look up into the sky. Aamir mentally prepares himself for the impending doom as he gazes up at the sky. Trumbull, who had been waiting for Barkawi’s call (or, london has fallen accurately, for the call to be traced to Barkawi’s position), orders the drone to fire. The drone explodes in Barkawi’s lair, killing him and the majority of his guards. As a result, Barkawi is almost certain to die in the attack.

Does Benjamin Asher Leave His Presidency? Does Mike Leave The Job? Both Benjamin and Mike are unharmed in the terrorist attack. In the final scene of the film, we see Mike at home with his wife and their baby girl, whom he has named Lynne after the late Secret Service Director. According to the half-written letter on his laptop, Banning is considering leaving the military. Allan Trumbull, on the other hand, makes a national address at that point.

For the time being, Trumbull is the vice president, but in Asher’s absence, he assumes command of the administration. However, as Allan becomes President in the third chapter of the film, we believe that Benjamin Asher eventually relinquishes his position to care for his family.

Following the tragic event, he appears to have begun to value his life and the lives of those around him over a london has fallen position. Allan, on the other hand, emphasises the importance of taking action. Because you chose not to act, you are just as culpable as the perpetrator. Mike deletes his resignation letter after hearing the motivational speech. As a result, we do not believe Mike will leave his position, but Asher will retire sooner or later.

Pretty much a retread of the first film. A family of conscienceless arms dealers, to avenge themselves on the US because of a drone bombing (or something like that) on their family headquarters do an incredibly well-planned terrorist hit in London has fallen. They take out leaders of several important American allies and are on the hunt for the US Prez who is on the run with his premier bodyguard.

A lot of people have panned this and the first film as being over the top and un-believable. Well, lets hope such incidents and situations will ALWAYS be unbelievable (and impossible). The point of this and any other fiction action-adventure film is to be entertainment and only that. So just enjoy and don't analyze too much. The Blu-Ray / DVD / Digital HD is excellent quality.

Highly recommended. 28 people found this helpful The plot was essentially that of Die Hard, but with a hundred times more violence and immeasurably higher stakes. I still liked it. It was suspenseful, there were good people worth admiring, and nearly nonstop action--which is, of course, why most people watch action movies.

london has fallen

The bad guys were of the Storm Trooper school: They inevitably couldn't hit the protagonist, played by Gerard Butler, even when he was standing right in front of them. He, on the other hand, rarely missed, even when running and firing behind himself without aiming.

As happened in "Olympus Has Fallen," the first movie in the trilogy (this was the london has fallen, Butler's character practically saves the world singlehandedly. Typical of such movies. Unlike some reviewers, I don't fault a movie for this kind of nonsense. I mean, how many times has James Bond saved the world? And THIS hero is happily married, not a lecher.

Not much else to stay. Lots of action, and (spoiler alert!) the good guys win. 12 people found this helpful An entertaining move. It is standard Gerard Butler action fare but that is exactly what I expected and wanted. I will say the action is nearly non-stop once it starts and the scale is larger and grander than in previous GB outings. No it won't win any story telling awards and the characters are the standard action tropes, again just what I expected and wanted.

This movie earns a place with Die Hard and other sorts for those "I need action" nights. One word of warning, lots of gratuitous use of expletives so be careful if you have children and are working to limit exposure.

Even my Fiancee made comment on it, it was that pervasive. 35 people found this helpful Gerard Butler is a secret agent who protects the president of the United States portrayed by Aaron Eckhart. Angela Bassett has a small but effective role as a top advisor. Morgan Freeman is the vice president. Butler is thinking of retiring as his wife is expecting their first child but with the death of the British Prime Minister and the president expected to attend he decides on one more job.

A drone reigns death on the family of a top terrorist who vows revenge. Butler, Eckhart and Bassett fly to London for the funeral. At the funeral ceremony the terrorists kill many of the top officials who have attended the funeral. They reign destruction on the city and many innocent civilians are killed.

Their main target is the president. Exciting scenes as the 3 try to escape from the rampage inflicted on the city. A car chase leads to an attempted escape london has fallen helicopter, terrorists use missiles to bring down the helicopter and the 2 escape to a safe house. unfortunately there is a mole in the British secret service. The president is captured and Butler with the aid of British forces attempt to rescue the president. The action scenes are excellent.

Butler is very effective as agent Mike Banning. This is the second in the series Olympus has fallen. Top london has fallen action and very recommended. 2 people found this helpful Action, action and more action. One question.did you like Olympus Has Fallen?

if the answer is yes, you will love this sequel. Back again are Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart and Morgan Freeman. This time around we go to a conference in London and all the major heads of state will be there and well someone is out to get them!

Action, action and action. This is the type of movie that you just sit back and go with the flow. I injoyed it for what it was and what it never tried to be. Purely entertaining. tons of other familiar faces too.

21 people found this helpful This is a good movie if you are looking for an action movie with good effects and has a plot that fits a good action movie, however what bugs me is the way Gerard Butler's role is set.

He does the impossible one guy defeats many, shoots out of a car with no door and hanging on the side while posing like he is a super hero, and has a catchphrase before killing someone but in a scene where everything moves so quickly.

that type of role london has fallen very unfit for how the movie plays out. The movie itself is a good action movie and has a lot of suspense while keeping your interest to the end and I'd rate it higher if it wasn't for how Gerard's role is set up. Maybe its just me who is sort of bugged by it but worth a watch if you are looking for a exciting action movie.

The rest of the acting is well done the president is played as a person with a big heart and bothered by the events taking place yet still fighting properly for his life and does what it takes to protect himself and not let down America and other nations by him dying as well as other leaders. 4 people found this helpful This is one my all time favorite movies.

The characters were london has fallen out a bit more from the first film (which I also liked) and you felt like you were getting to know the characters. I wish Melissa Leo had been given more to do, she did so well in london has fallen first movie.

That being said. the action was first rate. The plot was so well planned out, the attack such a surprise in the way it happened, and this all occurred with a bird's eye view of London's best monuments. The movie was worth it just for the tour of London. Besides that the movie made me feel good to be an American. Gerald Butler really kept the pressure on to save the President and he knew what he was fighting for in a larger sense.

That our allies from across the pond gave us their full support, was the cherry on top. This is one I watch over and over 9 people found this helpful A thriller of a sequel to Olympus Has Fallen! The country has recovered, then there is a reason for the President and many world leaders to meet in London - and POW, the action begins! You have to see it london has fallen believe it!

It also made a shitload of money, which pretty much guaranteed a sequel. In 2016’s London Has Fallenit’s once again up to hard-charging Secret Service agent Mike Banning to save President Benjamin Asher’s neck, this time from a band of terrorists bent on assassinating the world’s leaders as they attend the funeral of the British Prime Minister.

LONDON HAS FALLEN: STREAM IT OR SKIP IT? The Gist: When a drone strike kills his family, arms trafficking Pakistani terrorist Aamir Barkawi (Alon Moni Aboutboul) carries out an elaborate plan for vengeance that includes poisoning the Prime Minister of Great Britain but making it appear he died from natural causes, luring a host of world leaders to London for the PM’s funeral, accessing those leaders’ top secret routes of travel and precise locations, and arranging for seemingly hundreds of his infiltrators in law enforcement and emergency services to be lying in wait and ready with weapons and bombs to wreak havoc in one of the most surveilled cities on earth.

Of course all of this goes off without a hitch. “What’s wrong?” one of his men asks Secret Service agent Mike Bannon (Gerard Butler) as they’re ferrying President Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart) through a secure motorcade. “Nothing,” he answers, his eyes narrowed. “And that bugs the shit of me.” Moments later, assailants dressed as cops, ambulance drivers, army guys, and even Queen’s Guards in their tall bearskin hats are attacking the gathered dignitaries from all sides.

The leaders of Japan and France are killed, bridges collapse, and explosives decapitate Westminster Abbey. Banning and Asher escape with Secret Service director Lynne Jacobs (Angela Bassett) to Marine One, but the presidential chopper and its escorts are targeted by more mercs with Stinger missiles, firing from the roofs of buildings in broad daylight in a downtown London under tight security cordon.

The helicopter crash-lands in Hyde Park, killing everyone but Banning and Asher, and they flee on foot as another batch of attackers approach on motorbikes. Mere london has fallen have passed since this all started, but the city is somehow entirely empty. As Banning and Asher are picking their way through the London Underground, Vice President Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman) is tracking the attacks from the White House Situation Room.

Joining him are Robert Forster as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Jackie Earle Haley as the White House Deputy Chief of Staff, and Melissa Leo as the Secretary of Defense, top flight actors who have nothing to do but stare at telephones and furrow their brows. And back in England, Metropolitan Police boss Kevin Hazard (Colin Salmon) is equally powerless. He gapes at the bank of surveillance monitors which inexplicably missed acquiring a bunch of guys toting surface-to-air missile launchers.

Banning dispatches a few terrorists with bullets, bad words, and london has fallen racism before getting Asher to an MI6 safehouse operated by Agent “Jax” Marshall london has fallen Riley), but it’s not safe at all because puppet master Barkawi has his guys attack disguised as US Army Delta Force operators.

Asher is captured and brought to the terrorists’ hideout, where they plan to stream his death on YouTube. By now, Banning has squads and squads of SAS special forces soldiers with him outside the terrorist den. But he goes in alone to rescue the Prez. Photo: Focus Features What Movies Will It Remind You Of? London Has Fallen is built on the frame of Olympus Has Fallen, which was built on the one man army frame of Die Hard.

And considering their success – Olympus and London have together banked over $300 million in box office – these films have spawned an entire Has Fallen universe. Angel Has Fallen appeared in 2019, and there are plans for a fourth film and small screen spin-offs. Performance Worth Watching: The Has Fallen films are not known for their sensitivities to issues of race, and their brand of violence is broad and empty. But Gerard Butler nevertheless turns in another solid performance as Mike Banning.

His character is one dimensional as hell. But Butler’s trademark snarl is perfect for these films, and at times it helps elevate them to the status of capable genre exercise. Memorable Dialogue: “You know what you assholes don’t get? We’re not a fucking building! We’re not a fucking flag!

We’re not just one man! Assholes like you have been trying to kill us for a long fucking time. But you know what? A thousand years from now, we’ll still fucking be here!” Brute force nationalism and potty mouth blather: Mike Banning is gonna swear your ass to death. Sex and Skin: None. Our Take: The escalating implausibility of London Has Fallen is such that it stops caring about its own plot somewhere around its middle third.

That’s right around when the supposedly secure MI6 safehouse that’s sheltering Mike Banning and President Asher is suddenly revealed to have a basic-ass deadbolt on its front door and a conventional skylight perfect for mercenaries in tactical gear to rappel through, guns blazing.

Naturally, they’re all dispatched by the everywhere-at-once heroics of Banning. And when he can’t prevent Asher’s eventual abduction, it’s just another opportunity for the one man wrecking crew, no matter that he now has a crew of SAS hard guys at his disposal.

What London Has Fallen is really terrific at is shedding any character that isn’t its central duo of protector and president.

It feels like Jax, Charlotte Riley’s MI6 agent, wanders in from an entirely different film, then wanders out. And the braintrust back in the US, a group that includes the esteemed talents of Morgan Freeman, Melissa Leo, and Robert Forster, literally never leaves the Situation Room.

Together they field phone calls from supposed terrorist mastermind Barkawi, whose apparent means and menace are only more mechanisms to spin Bannon into action. Barkawi’s exact aim with all of this mayhem is only vaguely referenced, and its connection to a corrupt high-ranking official in the British government is barely explained. Instead of plausibility or watertight plotting, what you get with London Has Fallen is more Banning being Banning, which involves lots of takedowns of faceless assailants and macho, foul-mouthed posturing that’s more often than not glaringly racist.

A line like “Go back to Fuckheadistan or wherever it is your from” is just cheap and ugly. Detach yourself from that, and from its lack of narrative care, and Fallen does deliver a few sequences of tightly-wound action.

Our Call: STREAM IT as the genre actioner it is, but don’t expect London Has Fallen to overcome its ingrained implausibilities and sour nationalistic grandstanding. During a state funeral for the British Prime Minister terrorists launch a massive attack and it's up to Secret Service Agent Mike Banning to get the President out alive. The plot is kind of ridiculous, but it works in an action movie kind of way. Gerard Butler once again delivers a great performance; doing an especially good job with the stunt work.

And the special effects are extraordinarily well-done, creating some riveting scenes of carnage as London is turned into a war zone. A wild, non-stop adventure, London Has Fallen is full of thrills. Directed by Babak NajafiLondon has Fallen picks up after its predecessor Olympus Has Fallen (which was the wow-factor that I just adored !)but London mysteriously came with so bad reviewsparticularly from a very popular well known movie web site.

.well, I am so very glad that I didn't fall for the nay-saying reviews from that site that were telling me that this film was going to be horrible.

Because London Has Fallen ended up being a terrific, very entertaining movie. I have no earthly idea why the Rotten T reviewers were seeing or thinking when they walked from viewing this film and gave it a horrible review. . Because Plain and Simple, they simply got it completely wrong on this one.

While attending a worldwide known funeral for a murdered world leader that prompts the immediate attendance and presence of other world leaders, special services agent Mike Banning ( Gerard Butler) survives a brutal ambush only to discover a diabolical plot to assassinate all the attending world leaders. Angela Bassett ( aka Lynne Jacobs: Secret Service Director) and Morgan Freeman (aka Vice President Trumbull) return in their respective roles.

London has Fallen is a sequel that predictably repeats the another terrorist vs. hero act (which is one of the three very few nitpicking issues that I had with the film.) - as once again it repeats and involves saving and rescuing the US president Benjamin Asher (Aaron Eckhart) at one point - and that seems like It's basically been there- Done that. But if you think in aboutit Ironically the set and scenario is very similar to the Die Hard series- ( terrorists and rescuing Also the main villain notorious arms dealer Aamir Barkawi ( Alon Aboutboul) that is presented in London/Fallen isn't near as distinguished, unique and an upfront ruthless stand out as the 1st villain " Kang " (Rick Yune) from the original Olympus/ Fallen.

In fact Aamir is seen only in spots as he employs his henchmen i.e. Kamran (Waleed Zuaiter) to be upfront and personal. And the film doesn't start out roaring as the first film did - nor did it have nearly the imaginative weaponry as the 1st " Fallen movie ( ( i.e. the white house roof- cannons) . I was actually somewhat initially worried that it seems like it took it awhile to get going with the sentimental element, the introduction and development of the plot, funerals and world leaders conferences & meetings, the focusing reflection and direction of family and london has fallen life of secret service officer Mike Banning.

(and by the way Banning is also back with his macho- smart-a-alic one-liners in even the tightest, darker moments in battle.) But after the first 15 minutes. .the film just explodes in your face with an relentless, rolling, head-spinning action and adrenaline ,this is where you have to really set your eyes focused on what is about to happen, what IS happening because once the big bang effect comes out of nowhere ,because its' gonna be fast and furious . Practically leaves you with a wow " impression.

I heard other audience viewers around me with Wooo's and Wow's when you see london has fallen I call the 'Big Ambush'. It is going to go from one level of violent, speeding fight scene ( gunfire on foot) .to another (car chase).and another motor bike chase) .and yet another ( copter-battle) .

and even so forth. It features brilliant strategies in where top surveillance is hackedand undercover disguises make it very difficult times where you cannot tell the good guys from the bad guys, and also have you practically pondering how the good guys will escape and survive the ongoing onslaught and adversities that just keep coming at them in waves. It has very similar fast pace action, that includes battle strategies, rain-hailing gun-fire battles, race for survival, race for rescue, macho one-liners, rapid gunfire, head-shots and knife- stab fights, the graphic explosions - Even features crazy high speed car chases, Terrific stunt-work., fighting choreography and aerial copter fights and maneuvers.

.the strategic ground troop fights. .some elements this film features were some that I cannot recall in the original - but overall as film with villains, plot and last minute rescue situations and originality, it is not quite on the level of Olympus has Fallen in a lot of those elements but I still did enjoyed very much and slightly under the first one. Don't believe the Tomato-hype - Go see it for yourself.

(: On a Scale of 1 to 10, I'd give London Has Fallen a 8.0 .and 3.5 Tomatoes

When President Benjamin Asher gets kidnapped by the terrorists, Secret Service agent Mike Banning must once again save President London has fallen and thwart the President's live execution.

Plot Arms dealer and terrorist mastermind Aamir Barkawi is reportedly responsible for a series of bombings around the globe. Western intelligence locate his compound and the United States launches a drone strike against it, supposedly killing Barkawi along with his family, However, Barkawi survives and sets plans in motion with his son Kamran for revenge.

Two years later, U.S. President Benjamin Asher and his top Secret Service agent Mike Banning are jogging together. Mike is expecting his first child with his wife Leah and hopes to take some time off to spend time with his family, while contemplating resigning from the Secret Service.

Asher and Mike are informed that the British Prime Minister James Wilson has died. They and Secret Service Director Lynne Jacobs travel to London to join all the other world leaders for Wilson's funeral. As they are all arriving, several mercenaries under Barkawi's commands initiate an attack, starting with a bomb destroying the Canadian Prime Minister's limo.

Soon, the mercenaries disguised as royal guards and police officers begin opening fire on civilians and other officers. Mike takes Asher and Jacobs with him to safety after a street chase. During the attacks, the world leaders of Germany, Japan, Italy, and France are also assassinated. Quickly, the terrorists start to hit London's landmarks, including setting off a massive explosive on the River Thames that heavily damages Big Ben and the Parliament building.

Mike, Asher, and Jacobs head to Marine One for extraction. However, men positioned on building rooftops launch stinger missiles at the chopper, taking out the decoy choppers before striking the presidential one. The presidential chopper crash-lands to the par, resulting in Jacobs being fatally impaled; she dies in Mike's arms after making him promise to kill those responsible for the carnage.

Mike and Asher then go on the run. The President's staff sits in horror, fearing that their friends are dead. Mike attempts to contact Vice President Allan Trumbull back at the White House and send a message to let them know that london has fallen and Asher are still alive.

As Mike and Asher are running through the Underground tunnels, Asher notes that the terrorists want him dead, and if it must come down to it, he orders Mike to kill him. Mike reluctantly agrees. The staff receives a threatening call from Barkawi in Yemen to let them know that he is out for vengeance.

They are informed that Wilson's autopsy report detected poison in his body and that he was intentionally murdered with the plan to lure the world leaders. With the city on lockdown, Mike and Asher run to the safe-house of MI6 agent Jacqueline "Jax" Marshall, whom Mike knows well.

Jax gets onto her computer and learns that Barkawi is behind the whole plot. She plays back a message from Trumbull confirming that they received Mike's message and are sending help. On the security cameras, the three see what is supposedly the Delta Force team there to rescue Mike and Asher, until Mike notices that the men are not sweating despite wearing heavy gear and deduces they are yet more terrorist impostors, making them realize the terrorists intercepted their message.

Knowing that the terrorists must have a mole within the British government, Jax heads to Scotland Yard to coordinate with local authorities while Mike stays behind to eliminate the terrorists, aided by Asher. The pair then take an MI6 vehicle and make a run for the safety of the U.S. Embassy, but are overturned by a van driven by the terrorists. Banning regains consciousness just in time to see Asher being abducted.

Asher is taken to a private location where Kamran is setting up for the public execution. Meanwhile, Mike is already on his way to rescue him with a regiment of Delta Force and SAS commandos.

The terrorists set up the camera and broadcast it to every network london has fallen the world. As Kamran readies his machete to decapitate Asher, Mike bursts in. He engages in a fistfight with Kamran, but the latter manages to escape Mike ordered SAS commander Will Davies to trigger the explosives before taking Asher and jumping down a shaft as the place goes up in flames, killing Kamran and the remaining hostiles.

Davies and his team report to the White House staff that Mike and Asher are london has fallen. Jax discovers that MI5 Intelligence Chief John Lancaster is the traitor who helped Barkawi and the terrorists and kills him in self-defense when the latter refuses to surrender.

Barkawi's compound is located in Yemen, where another drone strike is launched against him.

Trumbull contacts Barkawi by phone moments before Barkawi dies in the explosion. Two weeks after the London attacks, Mike returns home and spends time with Leah and their newborn child Lynne, named after his late boss. He then sits in front of his laptop and continues to contemplate about sending his letter of resignation to Asher. On TV, Trumbull speaks regarding the recent events, leaving an inspiring message that America will prevail.

This convinces Mike to delete the letter. In real life, Marine One is the call sign of any US Marine Corps aircraft the President is traveling in. Marine Two is the call sign of any US Marine Corps aircraft carrying the Vice President.

Marine Three is not used as it is never ruled-out of what the US's third-highest (after President and Vice-President) political office is. Before listening to all of the 1 star reviews, hear me out. To start, if you think you're going to be watching a summer movie blockbuster that's 10/10 than you don't have a great judgement on films.

Was the movie plot thin? Sure. Was the acting "Oscar winning?" Most certainly not. However, if you enjoy a decent action packed film from start to finish, you may just like this one a little bit. Gerard Butler plays his typical bad ass, ex-marine type character that helps to save the President of the United States.

There's your plot. Simple and no more to it. That's what this film intended to give you. A simple plotted movie for action packed movie lovers. So, before you decide to toss this one out, go on Netflix on a london has fallen Sunday afternoon and give it a try.
