Black Bridge Village Episode 14 of Jirisan starts with Gu-yeong and Il-hae arriving at Magpie Hill and finding no one there. They figure out that a false report was made to separate them from Yi-gang.

At Black Bridge Village, Hyun-jo finds Yi-gang. She can see him and asks what happened to him last summer. We jump back to jirisan episode 14. Hyun-jo is waiting at Black Bridge Village when he spots someone through the foliage. They run and he gives chase, eventually tackling them to the ground and revealing their identity – Sol.

Jirisan episode 14 confronts Sol about the murders, but Sol only acts confused. Hyun-jo changes the direction of his questions, asking why Sol is even there.

Sol pulls out his phone, showing Hyun-jo a message identical to the one Jin-ok received. The sender is Woong-soon, though Sol doesn’t know why Woong-soon wanted to meet or why he hasn’t shown up. Sol discloses that Woong-soon also grew up in Black Bridge Village. We flash back to 1991. Jae-gyeong leads a village discussion, asking who jirisan episode 14 for or against the cable car. Nam-sik, Se-wook’s father, and Woong-soon’s father are openly against it along with Jae-gyeong.

Some of the other villagers consider opting for the compensation payout. In the present, Hyun-jo is now at Sol’s house looking at old photos of the village kids who include Sol, Hyun-su, Yang-sun, Se-wook, and Woong-soon. Sol says he was too young to remember what happened in 1991, though he does tell us that the third death was Se-wook’s father. He also has no explanation for the goblin lights. Sol left for Seoul after the village was demolished. Hyun-su and Yang-sun also left the mountain. That left only Woong-soon and Se-wook together all these years. Woong-soon says he had an urgent matter to attend to. Hyun-jo spots a pair of muddy hiking shoes, though Woong-soon says he’s too busy with work to go hiking. After Hyun-jo leaves, Woong-soon pulls up the list of Black Bridge Village residents.

On another visit to the police station, Hyun-jo questions Woong-soon’s junior about the investigation into the bus incident. The officer explains that Woong-soon sent in the report and ruled it off as an accident. Hyun-jo goes to find Jin-ok after she became unreachable and missed their meeting. Jin-ok’s neighbour explains that her pancreatic cancer worsened, and she has been hospitalized. Another old resident won’t cooperate with him, and Yang-sun’s grandfather has moved away.

During a patrol, Hyun-jo tells a group of rangers that he’s been searching for military dog tags lost on the mountain. They say they saw some in the Black Bridge Village cave before it was cleaned out. Hyun-jo mentally goes through the items in the cave and pieces together that they were all used in the murders. Hyun-jo later checks with multiple ranger stations but none of them were tasked with clearing the cave. We flash back to the culprit entering the cave after the rangers left and taking all the items, including Hyun-su’s dog tags.

Hyun-jo is sure that the culprit would not have been able to take the items off the mountain or throw them out. He begins searching for them but keeps coming up short. Yi-gang messages Hyun-jo, asking to meet up.

As he leaves to see her, he gets a vision of a sign pointing to Deokseoryeong, blood-soaked snow, and glimpses of a motionless person. An announcement for heavy snowfall plays on the radio in the background. We skip forward to 2020 again. Hyun-jo follows Yi-gang, Gu-yeong, and Il-hae down the mountain, though only Yi-gang can see him. He’s stopped at the man-made bridge. That night, Yi-gang explains the connection between the murder victims and Black Bridge Village to Il-hae and Gu-yeong.

She asks them to trust her and install a video camera at Seokyi Cliff in Dowon Valley before 5:30pm the next day. We flash back to Hyun-jo’s spirit telling Yi-gang that Woong-soon is the culprit and that he had another vision. In an extended version of the vision, we see the culprit’s watch displaying the date and time.

As the flashback ends, Yi-gang asks Il-hae and Gu-yeong to keep this all a secret from Woong-soon, reasoning that he’s a prime suspect because he’s an ex-resident who knows the villagers and the mountain. Elsewhere, Woong-soon meets with Jang Hak-su, the illegal herb collector who saw Hyun-jo. Woong-soon asks Hak-su for illegal herbs and Hak-su says he’ll have them by tomorrow. At 11:36am the following day, Gu-yeong and Il-hae head to Seokyi Cliff while Hak-su is stalked by the culprit on a restricted trail.

At 12:01pm, Hyun-jo has a vision of the culprit pushing Hak-su down a different drop. The watch in the vision now reads 2:01pm. Gu-yeong and Il-hae are two hours away from Seokyi Cliff. At the station, Yi-gang reviews the video footage of herself at Black Bridge Village. It shows the culprit watching her from behind some shrubbery.

It’s now 2:01pm. Hak-su is about to secure himself using a rope when the culprit comes up behind him. Hak-su turns, recognizing the culprit and asking why he’s there. Gu-yeong and Il-hae are close enough to hear Hak-su’s scream and change course in his direction. When they reach him, he’s already dead. Yi-gang deduces that the culprit heard her talking to Hyun-jo and changed the time and location of his next kill. Hyun-jo also arrives at the site of the murder and thinks back to when Hak-su told him that everyone who sees him dies.

He realizes that this has proven true.

Knowing Yi-gang can see him, Hyun-jo finds the radio Da-won dropped and bashes his hands down onto it until he can finally touch it. He radios Yi-gang, urging her to leave the mountain and live happily.

Gu-yeong and Il-hae only hear static. At the hospital, the machines Hyun-jo is hooked up to start glitching. His jirisan episode 14 disappears from the mountain. By 2:42pm, his vital signs go flat.

The Episode Review All signs now point to Woong-soon as the culprit, but Sol isn’t in the clear yet either. It makes no sense that he ran from Hyun-jo in Black Bridge Village if he’s innocent. He could still be the culprit, leaving Woong-soon as another false lead, or maybe they are accomplices. This episode confirmed that Hyun-jo knows – or thinks that he knows – who the killer is, jirisan episode 14 the plot hole that arose when he failed to use Seung-chul to relay this information to Yi-gang sooner.

Interestingly, Hyun-jo’s first vision of Hak-su’s death included a scene with a snake that came to pass even after the culprit changed his plan. If the first vision had also shown him the new time, perhaps it wouldn’t have even mattered whether the culprit changed anything – his new plan was already written in his future.

The mountain certainly likes to skimp on the details. While it’s not explicitly stated in the episode, it’s unlikely that Hyun-jo marks people for death in the way that Hak-su believed he did. Instead, it’s possible that those who are already close to their time of death can see him because the veil between life and death becomes thinner for them.

This is an ominous sign for Yi-gang, and Hyun-jo was willing to give up his life to warn jirisan episode 14 away. Unfortunately for him, it’s unlikely that telling her to leave and live happily with no explanation will get the job done. Concerned that Gianna Jun would be the serial killer’s next target, Ju’s spirit form exerted all his strength to speak into the walkie-talkie to warn Jun, leaving his body in the hospital in critical condition.

A long beep that seemed to signal Ju’s heart stopped left viewers concerned for his safety. Revealed in the latest gripping episodes released that Ju Min-gyung may have run into serious trouble, while the Haedong branch park rangers have hurriedly embarked on search and rescue in the hope of preventing a tragedy.

Jirisan’s flood of summer 2019 had claimed many lives. Ju Min-gyung who plays park ranger team’s admin executive Lee Yang-sun was helping with search and rescue when she accidentally fell and went missing ever since. Kim Young-ok who is in the role of Seo Yi-gang’s grandmother boarded a bus that fell off a bridge and died as a result.

Ju Ji-hoon discovered that was not an accident as the murderer had deliberately led the driver to the doomed route. Ju blamed himself for being unable to stop the perpetrator, and realised that victims were all residents of a particular village – linking the murderer to that location. With his special ability to foretell events, Ju saw clues in the village and caught up with the suspicious ecological conservation staff Kim Sol, played by Lee Ga-sub.

“Have you been committing the murders?” Ju confronted Lee who denied and explained he was there because police officer Kim Eung Soon (Jun Suk-ho) asked to meet, but had failed to show up.

Ju then found that officer Kim is a suspect, but was assaulted in the snow before he could uncover the truth, and has since been in coma while Jun was left wheelchair-bound. Back in the 2020 timeline, Gianna Jun finally meets Ju Ji-hoon in spirit form. He firmly believes “Officer Kim is the murderer” and tells Jun he can see the murderer will strike again.

It turned out that the perpetrator overheard their conversation and changed the location and time of the murder. Rounding up the clues, the prime suspects seem to be Kim Sol and officer Kim Eung Soon as both were from the village in question. However, what about the previous suspect, park ranger branch lead Jo Dae-jin, or anyone else for that matter?

The truth will finally unravel in the conclusion of Jirisan this weekend. Ranger Jung Goo Young and Team Lead Ranger Park arrive at the location where the injured person is supposed to be.

No one is there. They realize this was a false emergency to leave Yi Gang alone. Seo Yi Gang (Gianna Jun) hears sounds in the woods. We see the black gloves of a man.

Then Ghost Kang Hyun Jo (Ju Ji Hoon) tramps into the area. Yi Gang murmurs finally they meet. Hyun Jo asks if she can see him. What happened to her? Is she hurt? She reaches out but can’t touch him. She remembers Ranger Lee’s opinions of the Ghost ranger.

Yi Gang asks how long he’s been like this. Since last summer? 2019… Hyun Jo spots a man and chases him. He knocks the man to the ground. Hyun Jo demands to know if he’s the mountain murderer. The man declares he’s here to meet someone.

He shows Hyun Jo a text asking him to come to the black bridge at 3pm. Hyun Jo remembers the vision of the text, blood on a cell phone, and a man with black gloves.

Hyun Jo asks if Corporal Kim sent the next. The man confirms it stating he’s been waiting for over an hour, but Corporal Kim hasn’t arrived. Police officer Kim drives to the senior home. The man shares he often met Corporal Kim at black bridge valley. The man confirms Corporal Kim lived in the village.

Recall the man is the black bridge village jirisan episode 14 son. Flashback… The mayor tells the cable car developer they won’t agree to the development.

His mother was an accident and his father was suicide. The man claims he never knew why because he was a child. Hyun Jo asks why the man said the goblin lights were why the village was disbanded. The man shares that as a boy he saw goblin lights in the woods.

Flashback…The boy sees goblin lights. The man says his father saw the lights too but they never found at what it was. The man shares he moved to Seoul when the mountain village disbanded. Only Se Wook and Woong Soon remained in the area. The man remembers they were close as children. Hyun Jo arrives at the police station and gives Police officer Kim the log. He thinks that Police officer Kim knows more about the victims, their habits, their movements, than anyone else.

Hyun Jo reveals he went to black bridge village yesterday and saw the Sol, the former mayor’s son, who expected to meet Police officer Kim. He smiles and confirms he intended to go, but something came up. Hyun Jo stares at Police officer Kim who asks if there is anything else.

Hyun Jo speaks to a surviving village member that was a child at the time who claims to know nothing. He tells Hyun Jo he was too young to understand at the time.

He doesn’t want to talk about it. The mayor’s son can’t believe Police officer Kim could be the murderer. Hyun Jo warns him to be careful and notify him. Hyun Jo watches Police officer Kim returns to his apartment.

He assumes Police officer Kim will try to eliminate the remaining survivors again. He passes Yi Gang strolling. He stops his car and watches her gaze across the river from the bridge. She turns but Hyun Jo isn’t there. Flashback…Yi Gang accuses Hyun Jo of leading to her grandmother’s death. Hyun Jo talks with other rangers and shares he’s looking for military dog tags.

They recall seeing dog tags and other items in a remote ranger shelter in the caves. Hyun Jo remembers finding items in the cave remote ranger shelter when he rescued the woman hiker. He tries to determine who cleaned out the cave remote ranger shelter. Flashback…The rangers see the miscellaneous jirisan episode 14 in the cave remote shelter.

They declare they must clear it out. The black gloved man enters when no one is around and remote items including Se Wook’s diary and Corporal Kim’s dog tags. Later in the day Yi Gang texts him and asks to meet. Hyun Jo listens to the weather forecast of heavy snow.

When he exits the room, he sees a vision of blood on snow. Present day… Ghost Hyun Jo watches Ranger Jung and Team Lead Ranger Park take Yi Gang back down the mountain. She sees he can’t follow past the ranger station post. Back at the main station, Yi Gang shows Ranger Jung and Team Lead Ranger Park the list of black bridge villagers that have been murdered. Yi Gang asks them to install a video camera in Dowon Valley. Ranger Jung wants to know why. Flashback…Ghost Hyun Jo tells Yi Gang that Corporal Kim is the mountain murderer. He had a vision of Dowon Valley and the mountain murderer. Yi Gang shares the mountain murderer may strike there tomorrow. She refuses to share how she knows and asks for their trust. They agree. She asks them to install the camera, wait and stop the mountain murderer from adding another victim.

She reveals the mountain murderer is from black bridge village. She doesn’t want to believe Police officer Kim is a murderer but they can’t assume. Police officer Kim patrols the village.

He meets one of the herb collectors and asks if he still goes. He asks for a particular herb. The man doesn’t want to collect it.

He promises to ask other herb collectors he knows and will get back with him. Police officer Kim asks him to keep quiet about his request. The man promises and leaves. On the mountain, ghost Hyun Jo looks into the fog. At the jirisan episode 14 station, Yi Gang watches the clock and the computer screen. A man puts on black gloves and the watch ghost Hyun Jo saw in his vision. The sun rises on the mountain.

Yi Gang loads an SD card from the camera that was watching her. She sees the mountain murderer was watching her while she waited for Ranger Jung and Team Lead Ranger Park to return. The herb collector makes his way. Ghost Hyun Jo makes his way. The mountain murderer watches the herb collector. Ghost Hyun Jo makes his way. The herb collector approaches the cliffs. Up he goes.

He sees the requested herb. He ties a rope around a tree and himself to repel to the herbs. The mountain murderer approaches. The man asks why he’s there. He screams. Ranger Jung and Team Lead Ranger Park hear the man’s scream and head to the cliff area. They find the man at the bottom of the cliff area. Ranger Jung starts CPR but the man is dead.

Ranger Jung calls Yi Gang to report the murder. She looks at the time. She looks at the video where ghost Hyun Jo told her the time and place of the murder. She guesses the mountain murderer overheard the communication and changed the time and place accordingly.

Hyun Jo finds the herb collector’s backpack. He sees the herb collector’s body with Ranger Jung nearby. Flashback…the herb collection sees ghost Hyun Jo and tells him everyone the sees him ends up dead.

Ghost Hyun Jo realizes Yi Gang saw him. Is she the next victim? He makes his way through the woods. Ghost Hyun Jo finds Ranger Lee’s radio. He hits the ground around the radio. All the radios react. Kang Hyun Jo (Ju Ji Hoon) warned Yi Gang but the mountain murderer overhead. When his second vision revealed the new place and time, he couldn’t warn Yi Gang. When he saw the herb collector’s body, he remembered the herb collector’s terror and declaration that everyone that saw the ghost died.

Is the cache in the cave the murderer’s🧤🏔 souvenirs and the murderer🧤🏔 moved them❓⁉️ Hmm, I’m not sure who is more suspicious district Ranger Kim Sol 🐻🚩, former Black Bride villager whose father hung himself or Officer Kim Eun Sung 👮‍♂️, former Black Bridge villager. Both Kim’s hike and also know the mountain well. At times throughout the series I have suspect each of them, but there has been no evidence.

I think district Ranger Kim Sol 🐻🚩 has more motive for murder … his father jirisan episode 14 committed suicide over despair of Black Bridge village dying or someone killed him, so the village wasn’t holding out and the villagers could get financial compensation for leaving the village.
