Spider-Man: No Way Home The Black and Gold Suit is a suit players may equip in Marvel's Spider-Man. It is a PlayStation 5 exclusive free suit provided as part of the 1.0006 update for the game. It does not possess an associated suit power.

Characteristics The Black and Gold Suit is partially based on the Stark Suit, and shares similarities to Fear Itself Suit being a fully equipped variant of Peter's Classic Suit (Repaired), and Miles Morales' Uptown Pride Suit being a black and gold variant of his Classic Suit.

While the suit fabrication has lots of circuit lines, this suit has a mystical armlet on his right wrist. Original appearance The suit is based upon the Spider-Man suit designed by Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in which he is portrayed by Tom Holland. It is featured in the 2021 film Spider-Man: No Way Home. This suit is the Upgraded Suit flipped inside-out after it is smeared with green paint on its front-facing side by a Mysterio supporter, and equipped with a mystical gauntlet made of nanites from the Iron Spider Suit.

This is the suit Peter wore during his first encounter with Marc Webb-universe's Electro and Sam Raimi-Universe's Sandman. Trivia • This marks the sixth MCU suit to be featured in the game after the Homemade Suit, Stark Suit, Stealth Suit, Iron Spider Suit and Upgraded Suit.

The latest installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Spider-Man franchise continues the story of Tom Holland's Peter Parker after S pider-Man: Far From Home's shocking conclusion. Despite the entire world knowing that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, that didn't stop Spider-Man: No Way Home from putting him back in various suits. In fact, the film's story actually results in more Spider-Man suits being included than any other Spider-Man movie.

The story of Spider-Man: No Way Home primarily followed Peter's quest to help five multiverse villains who suddenly came to the MCU. This came after he worked with Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to try and make the world forget he was Spider-Man.

Strange's broken spell pulled Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Electro (Jamie Foxx), Sandman (Thomas Hayden Church), and Lizard (Rhys Ifans) from their original universes because they already knew Spider-Man's secret identity.

All of this happens as Peter tries to fix his life and those of the people closest to him, and the various opponents and circumstances require different Spider-Man suits in most cases.

Outside of the homemade suit from Spider-Man: Homecoming, the original Stark suit from Captain America: Civil War, and the SHIELD stealth suit from Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter wears some of his other more recent outfits again in the new movie.

But Spider-Man: No Way Home also features a new MCU Spider-Man suit and some iconic older suits thanks to Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's return. Spider-Man's Red & Black Suit Holland's primary Spider-Man suit spiderman black and gold suit Spider-Man: No Way Home is the red and black suit created in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Peter Parker invented this suit himself using Tony Stark's technology prior to battling Mysterio. This suit is featured in No Way Home right from the start, as the movie picks up immediately after Spider-Man's secret identity is revealed. Peter is wearing the red and black suit at the time since he just finished taking Michelle for a swing. For a good portion of the movie, he is unable to use this suit, though, after Mysterio supporters stained it with green paint. Peter does his best to clean it, but Aunt May is the one who finally gets the Spider-Man suit back to how it looked before.

Iron Spider Suit Spider-Man: No Way Home also features the return of the Iron Spider suit. The high-tech armored suit was introduced at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming when Tony attempts to recruit Peter to join the Avengers. He doesn't actually wear the Iron Spider suit until Avengers: Infinity War, where it became his primary costume for the film and Avengers: Endgame.

It was also featured in Spider-Man: Far From Home and came in handy again in the sequel. Peter uses the Iron Spider suit to fight Doc Ock, and the nanotechnology merges with his tentacles to give Peter control over the robotic arms.

Spider-Man's Black & Gold Suit One of the new Spider-Man suits featured in Spider-Man: No Way Home is the black and gold suit. It was featured in the marketing for the movie, although the details of the suit weren't known beyond an spiderman black and gold suit magical upgrade. The black and gold Spider-Man suit is actually just Peter's red and black suit flipped inside out, though. This explains some of the suit's irregularities, such as the exposed wiring and technology woven into the fabric.

Spider-Man only uses this version of the suit when he first encounters Electro and Sandman and then finds Norman Osborn, as Aunt May cleans the regular side of the suit shortly after. The magic enhancements come from the gauntlet Doctor Strange upgraded, which is then used in Spider-Man's later suits.

This suit is a combination of every previous suit effectively. The red and black suit is the base, but spiderman black and gold suit new gold pieces come from how the Iron Spider nanotechnology reforms after Peter gets it back from Doc Ock.

It also should feature the upgraded gauntlet from Doctor Strange, although Peter doesn't have a use for its powers at this point. The gauntlet sends those touched by the magic web back to Strange's prison, but Peter was working to cure the villains during Spider-Man: No Way Home's finale.

Spider-Man's New MCU Suit Spider-Man gets a new MCU suit ahead of Spider-Man 4 as well. Once the world forgot that Peter is Spider-Man, he began starting his new life. While this included renting an apartment and studying for the GED, it also meant designing a new Spider-Man suit for himself. Peter no longer has the resources of Tony Stark at his disposal, though, so he had to return to the basics and sew a suit by hand.

The MCU's new Spider-Man suit is much closer to his original looks and the character's classic comic appearances. In the brief look given at the costume, the red and blue coloring easily sticks out.

spiderman black and gold suit

While Spider-Man's original MCU suits were primarily red and blue, that went away as they became more reliant on Stark technology. Now, it seems that Spider-Man is returning to his roots when it comes to his costume.

Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man Suit As was long rumored to be the case, Tobey Maguire returned in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Maguire's return to the iconic role nearly 15 years after he last played Peter Parker in Spider-Man 3 begins with him in normal clothes, but he does eventually put on his Spider-Man suit again.

It is the same suit he was last seen wearing when he battled Venom. Although Peter is several years older now, the Spider-Man suit still fits and looks great thanks on the big screen again.

Tobey Maguire only wears the Spider-Man suit during Spider-Man: No Way Home's final fight. Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man Suit Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man suit is also seen again as he too returned in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Unlike Maguire, Garfield enters the movie fully suited up in his The Amazing Spider-Man 2 costume. This is why Michelle and Ned Leeds originally mistake him to be their Peter Parker. There are plenty of opportunities to see Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man in the red and blue suit once again. While he is unmasked for most of his screentime, Garfield does fully suit up for Spider-Man: No Way Home's final battle.

Despite the darker path teased for him after Gwen Stacy's death, there is still a sign that he's the same energetic Spider-Man who carried the Amazing Spider-Man franchise. From the stealth costume that he wore during his "Big Time" era to the sleek symbiote costume, the wall-crawler has worn dozens of costumes over the years. And in Spider-Man: No Way Home, he dons a black-and-gold suit that turns out to be nowhere nears as mysterious as the trailers implied. However, spiderman black and gold suit that Marvel Cinematic Universe suit doesn't have an exact match in comics, one of Spider-Man's costumes from Dan Slott's Amazing Spider-Man run provided Peter Parker with his very first black-and-gold costume.

Spider-Man lost his Spider-Sense during a battle with the Scorpion in 2011's The Amazing Spider-Man #654, by Slott, Fred Van Lente, Stefano Caselli, Marte Garcia and Joe Caramagna. He was forced to activate a shockwave to stop the threat of the incoming Spider-Slayers. While his plan worked, it inadvertently removed his own Spider-Sense, and he had to learn how to operate without it.

Peter Parker learned how truly important his Spider-Sense was during The Amazing Spider-Man #656, by Slott, Marcos Martin, Muntsa Vicente and Caramagna.

The relatively obscure villain Massacre held up a bank with an excess of hostages. Massacre has no regard for human life and repeatedly did away with his hostages to prove he was in control. Spider-Man tried to apprehend the villain but was instead hit by a barrage of bullets. Although he was relatively unharmed, he had to find a new way to stop Massacre, which is how his new suit came into play.

Peter Parker returned to Horizon Labs, where he retrieved his newest costume, the Spider-Armor MK II. Spiderman black and gold suit suit proved to be the perfect solution to Massacre. He found the villain holding his former coworkers hostage at a law firm.

Spider-Man launched himself through a window and immediately covered the hostages in webs. These webs blocked all radio frequencies, which prevented Massacre from detonating the bombs that would've taken out hostages. Thus, he tried to shoot at the hostages instead.

Peter had learned from his recent bullet wound and made the suit bulletproof. The yellow Spider logo even appears to catch Massacre's eye and draw gunfire to the protected area not unlike Batman's yellow Bat-Symbol. As a last result, Massacre blasted Spider-Man with a grenade launcher, but his efforts still proved fruitless.

Spider-Man was still standing and quickly apprehended the criminal. When the police still tried to fire at the unarmed Massacre, Spider-Man was able to deflect all of their shots as well. Peter Parker wore this suit immediately after the death of Marla Jameson where he adopted the motto "No one dies." This went for villains as well, and the Spider-Armor MK II was the perfect suit to protect individuals from any sort of disaster.

It even fixed the weight issue that the original Spider Armor suffered from and allowed Spider-Man to move at his normal speed. With a costume this powerful, one might assume Spider-Man would adopt this suit permanently. However, that was not the case. While working at Horizon, Peter Parker developed a multitude of suits with different abilities. He would not trade in the Spider-Armor for a stronger suit though. Before the Human Torch died, he asked Spider-Man to take his place on the Fantastic Four.

Spider-Man designed an entirely new costume for himself in the style of the Fantastic Four but the Thing was disgusted with it. Since Johnny Storm died, they had retired the Fantastic Four and were going by the Future Foundation instead. They provided Spider-Man with a new white suit and he began working alongside them. Peter Parker would never wear the MK II Spider-Armor ever again.

It was revealed that Spider-Man had a closet full of different Spider-Man costumes in The Amazing Spider-Man #698, by Slott, Richard Elson, Antonio Fabela and Chris Eliopoulos, and the Spider-Armor had been stored there ever since his battle with Massacre. The suit was seemingly destroyed along with Horizon Labs during the events of Superior Spider-Man#19, by Slott, Ryan Stegman, John Livesay, Edgar Delgado and Chris Eliopoulos. While the Spider-Armor MK II did make an appearance in Marvel's Spider-Man for PS4, there's been no indication that Spider-Man has reconstructed it since its destruction.

I love the heck out of this suit, there’s something that irks me to no end though.

His hands. The default hands look like they hold items, and they do. But he’s given no accessories. The red arms looks a bit silly, so best believe when they release something else golden I’ll probably snap them onto his arms.

Articulation is what you’ve come to expect from Marvel Legends, chances are if you’ve bought a Tom Holland Spider-Man in the past few years you know exactly what you’re getting with this figure, just a cool new suit. Accessories, well outside some thwip hands, and a big orange, tan, and brown leg. There’s not much. Would I have enjoyed a battle damaged masked head? Yes. Would I have been happy with a Tom Holland/unmasked Peter Parker head?

Sure, it’d save me the trouble of hunting down the wal-mart exclusive. Why not some kind of weapon or effects? That would’ve been cool just as well. But I -think- Hasbro is just in the dark as a majority of us on this suit’s purpose, or powers. __________________________________ What’s in the box? ————————————————— - Black and Gold Spider-Man Figure - Armadillo Build a Figure Leg - Web Shooting Hands x2 BONUS STUFF!

If you look at these hands, they look like they have the knuckles from the Miles Morales Gamerverse figure. So they should be compatible, and not look too different, the fists look a little large. But let’s not rule out the other Spider-Man figures from this and past lines when it comes to the current movie Spider-Man. So, you could get those fist hands they probably meant to include.

You could use some wall crawling or open hands from that Miles figure with this figure.

spiderman black and gold suit

And vice versa. It’s more options if you like how it looks with the hand swap, but I’ll probably pick up an additional Miles from this line before his price soars for the extra hand choices or maybe another MCU Spider-Man figure.

________________ FINAL THOUGHTS: ———————— I wish the eyes had a gold trim or golden inside to be honest. The black line around the white eyes, just looks odd.

I know they couldn’t make that part of his eyes red because people might have opinions about that. But the gold webs on a already black mask with black trim around white eyes just kind of leaves me wanting something more on the mask. You got to appreciate (or at least marvel at) some of the cool cybernetic circuit applications done to this figure. You catch it in the right light you see it more clearly, but I initially mistook it for some kind of dirt. So, I know one of the complaints on this guy is he’s no longer accurate.

You can look at his more expensive bigger Hot Toys brother. (Or the upcoming Mafex version of this suit.) Either way, this is your cheapest bet and Marvel Legends are awesome in their own right (most the time, in my opinion) or this guy will tie you over until you want an upgrade. We’ve seen this happen recently before.

One example that comes to mind is the US Agent figure being a spiderman black and gold suit of the John Walker Captain America figure. We was seeing screenshots before the episode aired. I think hasbro just jumped at making these figures, either money, to make the fans happy, or for someone to be the cool relative/parent come Christmas time. Or hey, maybe hasbro did this because we only have what. A handful of MCU Spider-Man figures?

I know it tends to be less funny when a person has to explain, that was a joke. We got a plethora of Spider-Man figures from the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe. He’s going to look awesome with your collection, I don’t own too many figures from the movies. I have the stealth suit, been looking to pick up the Wal-Mart exclusive of the red and black, or integrated suit. I do not like the Spidey Jr bodies. He does however look pretty good next to the Gamerverse Miles Morales figures.

But unless we somehow one day get an older more experienced Spider-Man that dons this costume. It’s going to be one of the few choices we have if you or I end up a fan of this suit after the movie. He’s been fun to pose and move around. Spiderman black and gold suit, I repeat he’s worth adding to your collection. Maybe you’re tired of the regular red and blue, red gold and blue, or you want a unique suit to put on display, this guy is a nice choice. Peter Parker will don a brand new black and gold suit for Spider-Man: No Way Home, but why does he have the new suit and where did it come from?

Spidey's Multiverse-opening adventure will spin its way into theaters just in time for the holidays, and it's already set to be the largest scale Spider-Man movie ever made.

Not only will it continue from the cliffhanger ending of Spider-Man: Far From Home, but No Way Home spiderman black and gold suit also bring numerous villains from past non-MCU Spider-Man movies into the story.

spiderman black and gold suit

That happens after a spell cast by Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to make Peter's identity as Spider-Man a secret once more has the unexpected side effect of bringing over villains from other universes, including the Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin, Alfred Molina's Doc Ock, Jamie Foxx's Electro, now with a comic-accurate look, and others.

The newest trailer for No Way Home also shows Peter in action in a new black suit without offering a clear explanation of where he got it from, but there's one big red flag. RELATED: Did Electro Die In Amazing Spider-Man 2? No Way Home Set-Up Explained One shot in the trailer shows Spidey's arm encased in a pair of golden spheres of energy, while the suit has an assortment of glyphs on it.

This indicates that the suit was given spiderman black and gold suit Peter by Doctor Strange and, thus, possibly possessing powers also gifted by Strange. With the conflict of No Way Home having a metaphysical origin, he may have given the suit to Peter as a tool to better help him throughout the events of the new movie.

Tom Holland's Peter Parker has had numerous different suits, such as his upgraded suit and the Iron Spider suit from Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Avengers: Infinity War.

He also got his stealth suit ( jokingly with the nickname " Night Monkey"), and his red and black suit complete with web wings in Far From Home. Holland's Peter Parker had also put together his own home-made suit, mostly from sweatpants and a red hoodie, being a teenager without vast resources at his disposal. In that respect, Holland's Spider-Man films have been arguably the most realistic in terms of how Peter got his trademark Spidey suit.

While each had its own purpose and utility, Peter's new black and gold suit in No Way Home could serve the most direct purpose to the story. With the Multiverse opening and new villains he's never encountered before pouring in, Peter will need every tool he can get hold of, so a new suit tailored by Doctor Strange makes sense. Enhancing the overall texture and clothing details, there are working LED lights in the black magic emblem on the chest and in the wrists, symbolizing the secret magic of Spider-Man and Doctor Strange. It was supposed to be new. It was most definitely NOT a shipping issue, because it had already been taped back together.
