In the 63rd tokyo manji of volume 8 of the manga, the actual formation of Tokyo Manji gang was described, and the origin of the team’s name was also hinted at. Initially, Mikey named the team “ Tokyo-Manjiro-gang“, but the name was unanimously rejected as being “ lame“, and the team was named “ Tokyo Manji gang” based on this name. So the team’s name was derived from Mikey’s real name “Manjiro”. Also the logo and symbol of Tokyo Manji gang is based on the name of “Manji”, that’s why its logo is shaped as the character of “Manji”.

Then Keisuke Baji answered, All for one, and one for all We put our lives on the line for each other. That’s the kind of gang I want. When Takemichi is pushed in front of a train, he teleports exactly 12 years into the past to 2005. While reliving his middle school years, Takemichi meets with Naoto and divulges the exact date he and Hinata will die. When they shake hands, Takemichi is suddenly transported back to the present, creating a time paradox where Naoto survives and is now a detective. Naoto deduces that every time they hold hands, Takemichi is transported 12 years into the past.

Using his knowledge from the future, Takemichi vows to save Hinata. In the past, Takemichi's friends are forced into underground matches led by Kiyomasa, a member of the Tokyo Manji Gang. Takemichi's determination to protect them gains the respect of the gang's leader, Mikey.

Takemichi discovers that his new friendship with Mikey prevented one of his friends, Akkun, from going to jail in the present; however, after Akkun commits suicide out of fear, Takemichi realizes the Tokyo Manji Gang presents a stronger threat to his friends than he initially thought.

After traveling back to tokyo manji past, Takemichi finds that the Tokyo Manji Gang is declaring war on Moebius, a rival gang, to avenge Pah-chin's friend.

Takemichi learns that Mikey's second-in-command, Draken, will eventually be killed and lead to Mikey becoming violent. Draken survives the rumble, but Pah-chin turns himself into the police after stabbing Moebius' leader, Osanai. This causes infighting within the Tokyo Manji Gang, as they disagree on how to help Pah-chin. Takemichi resolves Mikey and Draken's dispute; however, on August 3, 2005, the Tokyo Manji Gang are attacked by a group of Moebius members, who are led by Valhalla member Shūji Hanma.

Takemichi learns that Peh-yan colluded with them out of anger for Mikey and Draken letting Pah-chin be arrested, while Kiyomasa had stabbed Draken for humiliating him and causing him to be exiled from the Tokyo Manji Gang. The Tokyo Manji Gang wins the fight and Draken recovers from his injuries. Valhalla arc / Bloody Halloween [ edit ] Takemichi returns to the present, only to find out that Hinata and his friends still die in the current timeline. With only the clue that Tetta Kisaki transformed the Tokyo Manji Gang into a violent organization, Takemichi returns to the past to find that Kisaki has tokyo manji joined the gang, using Pah-chin's absence to become his division's new captain.

Moreover, first division captain Keisuke Baji is leaving to join Valhalla, after being recruited by Kazutora Hanemiya, a former co-founder of the Tokyo Manji Gang.

Mikey promises Takemichi that he will remove Kisaki from the gang if he is able to bring Baji back. With that, Takemichi is officially made a member of the Tokyo Manji Gang under Takashi Mitsuya's division. Takemichi discovers that Mikey holds a grudge against Kazutora for killing his older brother, Shinichiro, two years ago. In addition, Takemichi learns through Chifuyu Matsuno that Baji pretended to defect from the gang to investigate Kisaki. Furthermore, he learns that Kisaki had created Valhalla for Mikey to be its leader, and the Tokyo Manji Gang will eventually be absorbed into Valhalla after a rumble on October 31, 2005 known as "Bloody Halloween"; their loss had been caused by Mikey killing Kazutora out of rage over killing Baji.

During Bloody Halloween, Baji attempts to stop Kisaki, but Kisaki and Hanma convince Kazutora to stab him as planned. Though the Tokyo Manji Gang wins, Takemichi is unable to prevent Baji's death. Moreover, Valhalla is absorbed into the group, and Kisaki uses their defeat to raise his status within the Tokyo Manji Gang.

However, Takemichi is able to prevent Mikey from killing Kazutora, and Kazutora decides to turn himself into the police.

Takemichi is then made the captain of the first division as Baji's successor. Black Dragons arc / Christmas Showdown [ edit ] After returning to the present, Takemichi once again discovers that the Tokyo Manji Gang has grown into a large-scale crime tokyo manji after absorbing the Black Dragons, and his friends still die.

When he travels back to the past, he learns that Hakkai Shiba is forced to leave the Tokyo Manji Gang and join the Black Dragons under the orders of his abusive older brother and the Black Dragons' current leader, Taiju, an event that affects the Tokyo Manji Gang's merge with the Black Dragons. Mitsuya makes a deal with Taiju that he will allow Hakkai to join on the condition that Yuzuha, the Shiba brothers' sister, no longer works for the Black Dragons, nor will Taiju be allowed to assault her.

Before bidding them farewell, Hakkai tells Takemichi and Chifuyu in secret that Taiju has no intention of keeping his promise and that he plans to kill him soon to free himself and Yuzuha. Takemichi asks the Tokyo Manji Gang for help, but they decline to intervene, as breaking the agreement would reflect poorly on Mitsuya.

However, tokyo manji and Chifuyu reluctantly succeed in only getting the help of Kisaki and Hanma. Together, they learn from Koko and Inupi, two members of the Black Dragons, that Hakkai plans on murdering Taiju on December 24, 2005. On December 24, Takemichi confronts them, but he discovers that Kisaki and Hanma had betrayed and abandoned him. However, Chifuyu escapes and enlists Mitsuya for help in defeating Taiju.

After inadvertently preventing Taiju's death, Takemichi realizes that in the original timeline, Yuzuha had killed him after being coerced by Kisaki, which then led to Hakkai taking the blame for her and being forced to follow his orders.

Takemichi convinces Hakkai to stand up to Taiju in order to save Yuzuha, and with Mikey and Draken's timely arrival, the Black Dragons are defeated. After their disbandment, Koko and Inupi carry the titles of co-leaders of the Black Dragons' 11th generation and join the Tokyo Manji Gang as Takemichi's subordinates. Having learned about Kisaki's betrayal, Mikey removes him from their group.

Mikey's decision also causes Hanma and the former members of Moebius and Valhalla to leave, downsizing the Tokyo Manji Gang by 350 members. Tenjiku arc [ edit ] By the time Takemichi returns to the present, Tenjiku has absorbed the Tokyo Manji Gang after an event known as the "Kanto incident" and left Mikey demoralized to the point of killing all his friends.

While Takemichi and Naoto investigate Tenjiku, both of them learn that Kisaki is part of Tenjiku and that Shinichiro is the founder of the Black Dragons. When they are ambushed by Tenjiku members, they become fatally wounded, and Takemichi travels to the past before they both die. Hinata overhears Takemichi mourning Naoto's death, as well as the fact that he had been time-traveling. Takemichi learns that Tenjiku's leader, Izana Kurokawa, is a distant relative of the Sanos, and he holds a grudge against Mikey out of jealousy, especially when Shinichiro intended for Mikey to become the leader of the Black Dragons.

In the midst of this, Mucho and his vice captain, Sanzu, have joined Tenjiku, and Koko is forced to join them. Impressed by Takemichi's resolve, Inupi passes his title as the leader of the Black Dragons to Takemichi and reveals to the Tokyo Manji Gang that Izana is planning an attack on the Black Dragons' 11th anniversary, February 22, 2006. On the day of their fight, Takemichi loses the support from the other captains, as Kisaki tokyo manji Hanma have severely injured Mitsuya and fourth division captain Smiley.

In addition, Kisaki kills Mikey's half-sister, Emma, leaving Mikey and Draken distraught.

Nevertheless, Takemichi rallies the rest of the Tokyo Manji Gang to fight Tenjiku, with only 50 members fighting against Tenjiku's 400 members. Near the end of the fight, Mikey and Draken arrive after learning from Hinata that Takemichi had been time-traveling to save them. As the Tenjiku are forced to admit defeat, Kisaki shoots Kakucho and Izana, fatally wounding the latter, and flees. When Tokyo manji confronts him, Kisaki confesses that his reason for taking over the Tokyo Manji Gang was to boost his social status and woo Hinata; he also views Takemichi as an enemy for stealing her tokyo manji and has Hinata killed in every present timeline for rejecting him.

In the midst of this, Kisaki is hit by a truck and dies. After the Kanto incident, Hanma goes on the run, while Mikey decides to dissolve the Tokyo Manji Gang, allowing all of its members to move on. Final arc [ edit ] Takemichi returns to the present to find out that his friends are alive and successful, but Mikey, who has not been in contact with any of his friends for the past 12 years, has established a new gang called Bonten. Takemichi is no longer able to travel to the past through Naoto, but when he saves Mikey from jumping from a building, he suddenly travels 10 years into the past to 2008.

Takemichi is now in high school and learns that since the Tokyo Manji Gang has been tokyo manji, there is currently tokyo manji power struggle between Rokuhara Tandai, Brahman, and Mikey's new gang, the Kanto Manji Gang.

In hopes of reaching Mikey, Takemichi joins Brahman, led by Senju Kawaragi, tokyo manji suddenly develops the ability to see into the future. On July 7, 2008, Rokuhara Tandai launches an attack on Takemichi and Senju. Takemichi prevents Senju's death, but Draken is killed while protecting them. As a result, a brawl, known as the Battle of the Three Deities, erupts between all three gangs and ends with Mikey killing South, Rokuhara Tandai's leader.

The Kanto Manji Gang wins and absorbs Rokuhara Tandai; meanwhile, Senju disbands Brahman in order to stop Mikey from killing Takemichi. One month later, Takemichi recreates the Tokyo Manji Gang and challenges the Kanto Manji Gang to a fight on September 9.

[140] Anime [ edit ] In 2021, Western localized tokyo manji of the anime censored tokyo manji Buddhist manji swastika (卍) symbol used by the Tokyo Manji Gang, in order to avoid potential controversy that may arise from confusion with the similar-looking Nazi swastika (卐) symbol.

The removal, carried out by the Japanese licensors and affecting all versions of the anime officially distributed outside Japan, has itself proven controversial, as some fans have criticized the resulting version both on technical and freedom-of-speech grounds.

[141] [142] However, the official Southeast Asian and South Asian releases of the series by Muse Communication started releasing the uncensored versions later on, leaving Crunchyroll the only official streaming site outside of Japan to have the anime censored.

Episode 1 The Tokyo Manji Gang ( 東京卍會, Tōkyō Manji-Kai ?), often abbreviated as Toman ( 東卍, Tōman ?), is a biker gang based in Shibuya, Tokyo.

It was known for its honorable ideals and beliefs that contributed to its goal in establishing a new golden era for delinquents in the Kanto region. [1] However, this image crumbled as its ranks were continually corrupted and transformed into a criminal organization that took the lives of innocent civilians in the present day.

[2] Throughout its reign, Toman took on several gangs and declared victory against them, causing it to rapidly grow its numbers until its disbandment. Two years later, Toman is rebuilt by Takemichi Hanagaki under the Second Generation denomination as an effort to take down the Kanto Manji Gang and retrieve Manjiro Sano. [3] Contents • 1 Appearance • 1.1 Uniform • 2 Background • 3 Structure • 4 Members • 5 Battles • 6 References • 7 Site Navigation Appearance Uniform Toman members' full appearance (2005) Toman's tokyo manji uniform was a black tokkō-fuku ( 特攻服, special attack clothing ?) fashioned after the bōsōzoku subculture in Japan.

Its sleeves bore the wearer's position or division number with the gang's manifesto embroidered on the upper front section. Toman's complete name adorned the backside. To easily distinguish its upper echelon from the division members, all Toman Captains and its Vice-Leader wore a white tasuki ( 襷, ?) or sash. Its leader wore a similar sash in the color red, secured on the shoulder straps of his tailcoat.

After the Bloody Halloween conflict, the First Generation Toman leaders adopted an exclusive casual uniform similar to Valhalla's. The jacket's tag was Toman's complete name in romaji. The Second Generation would later wear the same uniform with the denomination name ( 二代目, Ni daime ?) embroidered on the back collar. Its present administration commonly wears business-like attire and semi-formal garments on occasion.

Background Mikey tokyo manji Kazutora Toman was founded on June 19, 2003, two weeks after Manjiro Sano took on Kazutora Hanemiya's childhood friend and his accomplices alone. [4] Mikey won against them as an effort to protect Kazutora from harm, but his victory soon made way for Kazutora’s friends to retaliate with the Ninth Generation Black Dragon on their side.

[5] A week after receiving word of the Ninth Generation alliance, Mikey tokyo manji Kazutora, Ken Ryuguji, Takashi Mitsuya, Keisuke Baji, and Haruki Hayashida at Musashi Shrine to confront Kazutora about fighting the Black Dragon all by himself. [6] Mikey planned to fight them, which induced Baji to form a gang of their own.

With Mikey as its leader, Draken as its Vice-Leader, tokyo manji the rest commanding the gang’s regime, the Tokyo Manji Gang was formed. [7] Structure The Toman leaders during a meeting Toman's structure mirrored the typical composition of a delinquent gang.

Its top administration comprised of a leader, often addressed as is or "Boss," with a Vice-Leader, or "Vice President," at his side. Subservient to its leaders were Division Captains, who led one division each consisting of at least 20 men. [8] Under them were their respective Division Vice-Captains, usually their close companions or advisers, and personally appointed Squad Captains for its attack and elite squads. [9] Under the Squad Captains were the division tokyo manji. Emma tells Takemichi about the Mikey side and the Draken side Toman had five divisions, tokyo manji to approximately 100 members.

[8] Its member count helped it be recognized as a large motorbike gang in Tokyo. Once Toman faced Moebius, its Third Division fell short on leadership as its Captain Haruki Hayashida (Pah-chin) was sent to a detention center after turning himself in for inflicting injury on Moebius' leader.

[10] Following Pah-chin’s arrest, Toman was split into two factions, namely the “Mikey side” and the "Draken side." [11] Mikey's side was in favor of his intention to bail Pah-chin out of jail, but Draken's side disapproved of this plan, as it would leave Pah-chin's sacrifice to be in vain.

[12] Hanma threatens to leave Toman and shrink its numbers With the Third Division lacking a captain, Mikey elected Tetta Kisaki as Pah-chin's replacement after Toman's victory in another battle against Moebius. [13] Kisaki's membership caused Toman to grow from approximately 100 members to 150. [14] After the gang's victory against the motorbike gang Valhalla, a sixth division was founded under the command of Shuji Hanma.

Compared to the other five divisions, the sixth had a total of 300 members, all previously from the gang. [15] However, the Sixth Division was later dissolved as Kisaki was expelled from Toman for double-crossing the team during the Christmas Conflict. Consequently, Toman's numbers dwindled from 450 back to the original 100, as Hanma left the gang with him. [16] Alongside the decrease in numbers was Ryohei Hayashi's (Peh-yan's) promotion from former Third Division Vice-Captain and Second Division member to the Third Division's acting Captain.

[17] From that day onward, Peh-yan commanded the Third Division alone. Tokyo manji also became the parent organization of the 11th Generation Black Dragon after defeating the 10th in a battle. [18] Through their affiliation under the First Division, Takemichi Hanagaki became the 11th Generation's leader.

[19] Toman's Public Morality Council restrains the First Division Although it is unclear how members were assigned to a division, Toman's original five had unique prominent qualities that tokyo manji them from the others. The first was intended to be an attack unit and the second as the elite guard during the gang's foundation.

[20] The Fifth Division was later formed to be the gang’s “Public Morality Council,” where its members were given the tokyo manji to investigate on skeptical division members without the express tokyo manji from Toman's higher-ups. This meant that only Fifth Division members were allowed to initiate infighting as long as it was for the benefit of the gang.

Assigned to this division was a physically strong captain capable enough to facilitate such investigations. [21] During the battle against Tenjiku, Takemichi became Toman's de facto leader as he led the gang in Mikey's behalf.

[22] Two years after Toman's disbandment, Takemichi reforms the gang and leads Toman as its second generational leader. [3] Toman's present administration Throughout Takemichi's time leap excursions, the present-day Toman would regularly change and add members.

As a criminal organization, Toman was commanded by its prime tokyo manji and his second-in-command. Subservient to them are the organization's Top Admins, followed by Admins, then the gang's made men. [23] Toman's division system was abolished and its Captains were replaced with Admins. By Takemichi's 14th time leap, a third leader was introduced, who, in essence, served as Toman's prime leader to fill in his superiors' truancies.

They aim to start a new age for delinquents which differentiates them from other groups. This time, we’ll get to know the Tokyo Manji Gang from head to toe, knowing their history and each member that they have. Enough of the chitchat, this is the Tokyo Manji Gang Wiki. The Tokyo Manji Gang or Toman for short is a gang mainly comprised of Middle-schoolers whose territory is in Shibuya.

In the original timeline, Toman was corrupted by several individuals where it became a ruthless criminal syndicate involved in murder, illegal drugs, and other heinous crimes (Chapter 1). The Tokyo Manji Gang was under the leadership of Manjiro Sanoa very strong individual who created several gangs that conquered Tokyo across numerous timelines. Its members, especially the captains and vice-captains of each division, were also powerful and had abilities that made them worthy of their title.

Before the gang was corrupted and became evil, Toman greatly emphasizes the honor of its members and the whole gang will get involved if one of them will get attacked. Takemichi became friends with all of the Division Captains and Vice-Captains, except those in the 5th Division. They formed a bond that lasted through the years. They also fought together and went to hell and back just to make sure that everyone was safe.

Throughout the series, Toman will have various changes, for better or worse. It is one of Takemichi’s goals to make Toman run through the right path. The Tokyo Manji Gang was once considered the strongest gang in Tokyo after defeating Tenjiku (Chapter 185). It disbanded following the Kanto Incident, where the event left 3 dead and Mikey decided that it was needed to ensure the best future possible (Chapter 189).

The gang’s uniform consisted of a black button-up jacket and pants that resembled a mechanic’s outfit. The uniform also had engravings that were colored gold. They paired it with white boots and belts. The captains, however, wore white sashes that made them stand out. Takemichi wore the sashes when he represented Toman during the Kanto Incident (Chapter 153). There is also a tradition within the gang. The tradition involves having pre-battle and post-battle meetings that are attended by every tokyo manji and led by Mikey and Draken.

The Tokyo Manji Gang also upholds values similar to the 1 st Generation of the Black Dragons, such as comradery and treating each other as family. Where even if Baji betrayed them, Mikey wanted to defeat Valhalla and get him back (Chapter 50).

When Manjiro Sano, Ken Ryuguji, Keisuke Baji, Takashi Mitsuya, Haruki Hayashida, and Kazutora Hanemiya were all in elementary schoolthey formed the Tokyo Manji Gang to fight against the Black Dragons who occupied Tokyo and which was the top gang during its tokyo manji days.

At first, Toman was a bunch of middle-schoolers who rode their bikes while doing harmless pranks to each other and the neighborhood of Shibuya. Although they were kids, they were capable of fending for themselves in the cruel world of delinquents. When Mikey was ridiculed because of his scooter and Baji was attacked by a gang called The Shonan Mermaidsthe two of them tokyo manji the entire gang by themselves (Chapter 43).

Everything changed on the day before Mikey’s birthday, Kazutora accidentally killed an owner of a bike that he stole to give to Mikey as a gift who turned out to be Mikey’s older brother, Shinichiro (Chapter 44-45). This initiated a drastic change in how the members of Toman viewed themselves. In the aftermath of Toman’s second encounter against Moebius, Toman tokyo manji grew in strength as Kisaki’s group became the 3rd Division (Chapter 37). Shuji Hanma then joined Toman after Valhalla was defeated, forming the 6th Division.

Takemichi was also appointed as the new 1st Division Captain after the battle concluded (Chapter 69). During the battle against the 10th Generation of the Black Dragons, Takemichi and other Toman members fought against Taiju Shiba.

Takemichi then became the 11th Generation Leader of the Black Dragons and the gang was absorbed into Toman after they were defeated (Chapter 111, Chapter 142). At the same time, Kisaki and Shuji were exposed and they were fired by Mikey. This resulted in Toman getting smaller again (Chapter 112).

The Tokyo Manji Gang’s final struggle would be against Tenjiku. After Tenjiku launched tokyo manji surprise attack against the Division Captains and killed Emma SanoMikey and Draken were devastated (Chapter 149). This left Takemichi as the only one who was capable of leading Toman.

Takemichi fought against 400 members of Tenjiku with only 50 of Toman’s (Chapter 154). They emerged victorious because of Takemichi’s resolve and determination, as well as Mikey tokyo manji Draken’s surprising arrival (Chapter 170). Takemichi then revealed to Mikey that he was a time-leaper (Chapter 188).

This prompted Mikey to make a shocking decision during Toman’s meeting. He shouted to everyone that Toman will disband, but they should keep in mind that Toman is always in their hearts (Chapter 189). Mikey’s declaration signaled the end of Toman’s era as the strongest gang in all of Tokyo.

Manjiro Sano who also goes by the nickname Mikey is one of the founders and the president of the Tokyo Manji Gang. He is an tokyo manji fighter that defeats most of his opponents with one roundhouse kick that smashes them to the ground. Mikey has total control over Toman, ruling with fear and respect.

Kazutora Hanemiya is one of the founders of Toman and was designated as a leader of the Attack Unit and the former 1st Division Co-Captain. He would eventually leave Toman after he accidentally committed murder and was sent to reform school. Kazutora would later form the anti-Toman group and join Valhalla. Takemichi Hanagaki who was given the nickname Takemitchy by Mikey is the current 1st Division Captain of Toman.

He is the main protagonist of Tokyo Revengers and has the ability to Tokyo manji Travel. When Toman defeated the Black DragonsTakemichi would become the 11th Generation Leader of the Black Dragons (Chapter 142). Kisaki Tetta is the main antagonist of the series and was a former 3rd Tokyo manji Captain of Toman in an alternate timeline.

He is the man who is behind the operations of several anti-Toman gangs such as Moebius and Valhalla. Kisaki is also responsible for Hinata TachibanaTakemichi’s girlfriend’s death in all timelines. Yasuhiro Muto is the former 5th Division Captain or also known as the Public Morality Council which allowed infighting. He changed sides and joined Toman’s rival Tenjiku and has a role as a top executive.

When Tenjiku and Toman fought, he would be defeated by Angry along with other members of Tenjiku (Chapter 163). l Toman’s symbol is the swastika symbol which has relevance in Japanese Buddhism, Jainism, and Indian Hinduism as well in other religions in Europe and Asia. l There are several versions of Toman each time Takemichi tries to change the past.

l Toman had a 5th Division that allowed infighting and had the authority to punish traitors without Mikey’s permission. l Each Division consists of 25 members. l The 3rd Divisionwhich was briefly under Kisaki, became the largest Division with 50 members before Kisaki was fired.

l Toman was supposed to be named the “Tokyo Manjiro Gang” which was Mikey’s first choice, but it was rejected by the other founders (Chapter 63). Toman’s first encounter with Moebius was when Mikey, Takemichi, Draken, Pehyan, and Pah-Chin were cornered by Nobutaka Osanai and his group within Moebius (Chapter 15). Toman emerged victorious when Mikey knocked out Osanai with one kick. Pah-Chin would stab Osanai while he was secured by Draken leading to his arrest when Pah-Chin turned tokyo manji in (Chapter 16).

This fight would also create a rift in Toman. Toman would win in their fight against Valhalla who is under the leadership of Shuji Hanma. The fight against Valhalla would result in Mikey’s former comrade, Baji’s death when he stabbed himself to show everyone that Kazutora didn’t kill him, but instead, he died by his own hands (Chapter 60). They would also have to fight another friend, Kazutora who is leading the anti-Toman group.

Toman would go head to head with the Black Tokyo manji and come out victorious. Takemichi, Mitsuya, Chifuyu, and Hakkai were on the verge of getting defeated by Taiju until Draken and Mikey showed up.

Mikey beat Taiju and Draken took tokyo manji of all the Black Dragons members tokyo manji the church (Chapter 106). The Black Dragons would then appoint Takemichi as their new leader and join the 1st Division of Toman. Kokonoi, a captain of the Black Dragons, joined Tenjiku after Mucho threatened to torture Inui and Takemichi (Chapter 142). TenjikuToman’s rival gang ruled by Mikey’s half-brother, Izanawould fight Toman but the brawl would be interrupted when Kisaki Tetta killed Izana with a handgun (Chapter 176).

tokyo manji

The fight was leaning towards Toman’s favor with Angry being able to quickly dispose of a handful of their top executives easily (Chapter 163). However, Kakuchou, Tenjiku’s strongest of the Four Heavenly Kingsdefeated all of the Toman members (Chapter 164). Mikey and Draken weren’t present until the very end after Hinata convinced them to help Takemichi.

tokyo manji

This was later known as the Kanto Incident and the final push for Toman to be called the strongest (Chapter 170). You could say that the Tokyo Manji Gang are the good guys and the bad guys at the same time in Tokyo Revengers. When Takemichi goes to the pastthey are a gang of middle-schoolers who love to ride bikes, have fun, and fight other delinquents but in the original timelinethey become ruthless individuals responsible for numerous deaths.

Toman’s rule which is to trust your friends and protect them at all costs tokyo manji what made Takemichi want to protect the gang. Some of the members listed here have bad intentions but most of them just need a friend to rely on.
