After the death of Chancellor K'mpec, Gowron and Duras, son of Ja'rod, became the two leading candidates for leadership of the council.

It karakter re zero suspected that Gowron had in fact poisoned K'mpec to advance his career, though many believe that K'mpec was indeed poisoned by Duras. Gowron traveled on the IKS Buruk to undergo the Rite of Succession in the Gamma Arigulon system, where K'mpec had gone to rendezvous with Captain Jean-Luc Picard, who would serve as Arbiter of Succession.

Gowron, like a typical Klingon, was skeptical of an outsider's ability to function as Arbiter, and was frustrated with his choice of undergoing the ja'chuq, but still went along with little argument. Once Duras was killed by Worf through the Right of Vengeance, Gowron's election as chancellor was complete.

( TNG: " Reunion") Klingon Civil War Following Gowron's election, Duras' sisters, Lursa and B'Etor, challenged Gowron's office.

They appealed to the High Council to install Toral, the illegitimate son of Duras, as chancellor. The resulting division of loyalty in the council quickly sparked the Klingon Civil War in late 2367.

( TNG: " Redemption") After a few weeks, Gowron's forces emerged karakter re zero. With the help of the Federation, ties that the Duras family had with the Romulan Star Empire were exposed. In addition, Gowron reinstated the House of Mogh in recognition of the actions of Worf and his brother Kurn coming to his aid in the conflict. ( TNG: " Redemption II") Later career In the aftermath of the war, Gowron found it was best to avoid calling attention to the Federation's support during the war.

He ordered that all official accounts of the events omit the Federation's involvement in the conflict and emphasize his own courage and strategic genius. ( TNG: " Unification I") When a clone of Kahless the Unforgettable was created in 2369, Gowron dismissed his right to rule the Klingon Empire, though he soon became worried that the clone's existence would karakter re zero the empire into another civil war.

In order to keep the peace, he agreed to support Kahless as the spiritual leader of his people, agreeing to support his succession as "Emperor" (the title having been defunct for generations), while Gowron would remain leader of the Council. ( TNG: " Rightful Heir") In 2371, a Klingon named Kozak was killed in an accident at Quark's on Deep Space 9.

D'Ghor, posing as Kozak's brother, made a claim before Gowron and the Council to the House of Kozak, karakter re zero Gowron temporarily transferred leadership of the House of Kozak to Quark, who had secretly married Kozak's widow, Grilka.

Together, they proved to Gowron that D'Ghor had dishonored himself by trying to financially ruin Kozak for years instead of openly fighting him. D'Ghor challenged Quark to personal combat, but Quark refused to fight.

D'Ghor was about to kill the unarmed Ferengi when Gowron intervened and discommended D'Ghor for his dishonorable attempt to kill an unarmed opponent who was not even attempting to fight back.

Furthermore, Gowron proclaimed that the House of Kozak would become the House of Grilka and commended the Ferengi for his uncommon bravery. ( DS9: " The House karakter re zero Quark", " Looking for par'Mach in All the Wrong Places") Later that year, Commander Sisko hypothesized that Gowron had sent the Klingon Intelligence agents Atul, Bo'rak and Morka to Deep Space 9 to spy on a Romulan delegation.

( DS9: " Visionary") " This we do not forgive. or forget." As the cold war between the Dominion and the Alpha Quadrant escalated during the 2370s, Gowron took prominent Klingon General Martok as his military adviser. Martok had secretly been replaced by a Changeling, and used his position to influence Gowron's military decisions. ( DS9: " Apocalypse Rising") When a civilian revolution took place on Cardassia Prime in 2372, Martok spread misinformation that the Cardassian uprising had been supported by the Dominion.

This view gained some credence as it fit the Founders' modus operandi, since they regularly made use of infiltrators to weaken their enemies. Martok led Gowron to believe that the civilian-led Detapa Council had been replaced by Changelings.

Seeking to protect the Empire, Gowron ordered the invasion of the Cardassian Union. The move was condemned by the Federation Council, and Gowron withdrew from karakter re zero Khitomer Accords, ending the decades-long alliance with the Federation, beginning the Federation-Klingon War. When Captain Sisko took the Detapa Council under his protection, Gowron led an unsuccessful assault on Deep Space Nine, ultimately withdrawing after conceding that it was not in the Empire's interest to fight a war with the Cardassian Union and the Federation at the same karakter re zero.

( DS9: " The Way of the Warrior", " Rules of Engagement") Kurn revealed to Worf that Gowron's reasoning for breaking the treaty was " because [he] underestimates the Federation.

He thinks they're soft, weak, but he is wrong." ( DS9: " Sons of Mogh") The Klingons conquered a number of Cardassian colonies but failed to take Cardassia Prime. Gowron declared victory anyway, in order to avoid assassination attempts. He fortified his positions in Cardassian space and continued expanding the borders of the Empire. He also ordered several attacks on Romulan targets on the Klingon-Romulan border.

( DS9: " Hippocratic Oath") In late 2372, Gowron demanded that the Federation withdraw from the Archanis sector, in particular Archanis IV.

During this time, the Dominion planted false information in Starfleet through Odo that Gowron, not Martok, was a Changeling spy. ( DS9: " Broken Link") Starfleet sent a team to Klingon military headquarters on Ty'Gokor to expose Gowron. Eventually, they discovered that Martok was, in fact, the Changeling agent, and Gowron's men swiftly killed the impostor.

( DS9: " Apocalypse Rising") After the Cardassians joined the Dominion in 2373, the Klingon forces were driven from Cardassian space. Facing the combined forces of the Dominion and Cardassia, Gowron reinstated the Khitomer Accords and posted a permanent contingent of Klingon officers on the Cardassian border at station Deep Space 9, commanded, ironically, by the real Martok.

( DS9: " By Inferno's Light") The Dominion War In early 2374, Gowron was reluctant to involve the Empire in Operation Return. However, he was later persuaded to assist Captain Sisko's forces by Martok and Worf. The late arrival of the Klingon fleet proved critical in the battle, throwing the Dominion lines into disarray, and allowed the Defiant to break through.

( DS9: " Favor the Bold", " Sacrifice of Angels") Several months later, the Dominion and the Orion Syndicate used Gowron's feud with the Klingon ambassador to Farius Prime in an attempt to bring down the Treaty of Alliance.

Gelnon and Raimus hoped that, by having Liam Bilby, Krole and Flith assassinate the ambassador with Klingon weapons, it would look like Gowron had ordered the pro-Dominion ambassador's execution. ( DS9: " Honor Among Thieves") Gowron played a role, albeit unknowingly, in bringing the Romulan Star Empire into the war against the Dominion. In late 2374, Captain Sisko contacted Gowron and asked him to issue a formal pardon to Grathon Tolar, who was needed by Sisko and Elim Garak to forge a holo-recording.

( DS9: " In the Pale Moonlight") Gowron fights Worf to the death in 2375 Early in 2375, both Worf and Martok planned to speak to Gowron karakter re zero see if he could find Kor a fitting assignment on Qo'noS. ( DS9: " Once More Unto the Breach") Martok's actions during the war had made him a prominent figure throughout the Empire, such that he was regarded by the Klingon people as their savior.

Feeling threatened by Martok's growing political influence, Gowron took direct control of the Klingon Defense Force in 2375. He began trying to undermine Martok's military standing, repeatedly sending him against impossible odds so that he would be forced to retreat. ( DS9: " When It Rains.") Martok refused to challenge Gowron even after such dishonorable actions, believing it would be tantamount to turning against the Empire. Instead, Gowron was challenged by a member of Martok's house, Worf.

Worf, who had been subtly directed by Captain Sisko to have Gowron removed as Chancellor, defeated Gowron in one-on-one combat, killing him, and passed the leadership of the High Council to Martok.

Despite his disapproval of Gowron's actions, Worf still performed the Klingon death ritual for him, acknowledging the former Chancellor as a Klingon warrior.

( DS9: " Tacking Into the Wind") Before leaving Deep Space 9 to take up his post as Martok's Federation ambassador, Worf recalled having fought Gowron for the leadership of the Empire. ( DS9: " What You Leave Behind") Memorable quotes " You will die slowly, Duras." - ( TNG: " Reunion") " K'mpec was also stubborn.

He, too, refused to listen. Now. he is gone. You need not make the same mistake." - to K'Ehleyr ( TNG: " Reunion") " The grasp of Duras reaches up from karakter re zero grave!" - ( TNG: " Redemption") " Are you blind to what they represent?

Then go. your blood will paint the way to the future." - ( TNG: " Redemption") " What are you, Worf? Do you tremble and quake with fear at the approach of combat, hoping to talk your way out of a fight like a Human? Or do you hear the cry of the warrior, calling you to battle, calling you to glory like a Klingon?" - ( TNG: " Redemption") " You have made many enemies, Worf.

Fortunately, I am not one of them!" - ( DS9: " The Way of the Warrior") " What kind of fools do you have working for you, Picard?" - ( TNG: " Rightful Heir") " What was his name? If you were really there, you should be able to karakter re zero us the name of the man who stood outside the walls. Describe him to us. How tall was he? What was he wearing?!? What color. were his eyes ?!" - ( TNG: " Rightful Heir") " Kahless has been dead for a thousand years; but the idea of Kahless is still alive.

Have you ever karakter re zero an idea, Picard? It has no weapon to destroy, no body to kill. The idea of Kahless' return must be stopped here and now – or it will travel through the Empire like a wave, and leave nothing but destruction behind." - ( TNG: " Karakter re zero Heir") " You should have killed me when you had the chance. I promise you will not get another." - ( DS9: " Apocalypse Rising") " It's time for me to take a more active role in this war.

As of today, I'm assuming direct command of our forces." " I decide what can and cannot be done." - to Worf ( DS9: " Tacking Into the Wind") " I should've known better than to trust you again.

Fortunately for you, that child's uniform shields you from your rightful fate." - to Worf ( DS9: " Tacking Into the Wind") " The Klingon Empire will remember what has happened here. You have sided against us in battle. He believed he was cast in the role by "Reunion" director Jonathan Frakes partly because of " that crazy loon eyeball thing, but he saw also a sense of humor, and he has one of the great senses of humor of all time. I think that created a curiosity in him and he wanted to see more of me." O'Reilly had been cast as Gowron after performing as Edmund in a production of King Lear, and this influenced his approach to the character.

" I thought it absolutely fit. Remember, the way Gowron came in is not the way he went out. He went out as this bad, terrible Klingon, which I disagreed with strongly, but that's fine. But the earlier part of Gowron's arc, he was the outsider, the only one with honor, and he was sort of a crazed warrior who did not want to be anywhere near 'hew-mons.' So it started off very, very differently.

If you take the point of view of Edmund, he's the outsider. He's the 'bastard', just out karakter re zero and not part of the group, and then he decides to defeat everybody and become head of the group." [1] Apocrypha The Enhanced First Contact expansion of the Star Trek Customizable Card Game shows a card where, in an alternate universe, Gowron, not Picard (known as Locutus of Borg in his assimilated form), was assimilated by the Borg.

His name was simply "Gowron of Borg". Gowron also appeared (in character) in a 1994 Hallmark Keepsake ornament commercial filmed to promote a Klingon Bird-of-Prey ornament.

Gowron also features heavily in the video games Star Trek: Klingon karakter re zero Star Trek: The Next Generation - Klingon Honor Guard, with O'Reilly reprising his role in both games. His mirror universe counterpart ( β) is mentioned as being a colonel in the service of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance in the novella The Mirror-Scaled Serpent. A firm opponent of inter-species breeding, he sent a Terran slave to assassinate B'Elanna, the half-Klingon, half-Terran Supervisor of Ardana.

The slave was unsuccessful and was killed, himself, by B'Elanna's personal aide Kate Karakter re zero. He later appeared in the short story "For Want of a Nail", contained in the anthology Shards and Shadows, in which he was killed by Duras. In Star Trek Online, Aakar, son of Aakam, a member of the House of Mo'Kai involved in the Federation-Klingon War as seen in Star Trek: Discovery, is revealed to be the grandfather karakter re zero Gowron in the "House Divided" update released in June 2020, where he is voiced by Robert O'Reilly.

[2] Gowron himself, also voiced by O'Reilly, appears in the "House Reborn" update released for the game's 11th anniversary in January 2021. Player characters accompanied by Martok and J'Ula, the matriarch of the Karakter re zero of Mo'Kai, encounter Gowron in "Koth", a sort of limbo for those souls not sent either to Sto-vo-kor or Gre'thor in death; though Gowron died in honorable combat, his spirit was sent to Koth as a result of Aakar's treachery staining his family honor for three generations.

When the player character and their allies enter Gre'thor seeking to free the soul of former Chancellor L'Rell, Gowron offers his own in her place, declaring that at least he would be among Klingons, even dishonored ones, rather than alone in the void.

J'Ula swears to Fek'lhr, lord of Gre'thor, that she will bring the souls of both Aakar and the self-styled Emperor J'mpok to Gre'thor in exchange for Gowron being allowed to go to Sto-vo-kor. In the "House United" update in May 2021, Aakar is killed by the player character with the aid of L'Rell; J'mpok falls to J'Ula's blades shortly afterward, thus ensuring Gowron will go to Sto-vo-kor. This gene was the reason for her unknowingly monitored by Jerry during childhood. She had exhibited her talent in espionage at an early age, mostly in stealth.

Clover was eventually transferred to Beverly Hills High at the start of her freshman year, something she didn't mind because of its fashion sense.

She is Mandy's rival. Clover's counterpart is Pam, from the previous WOOHP spy team. On her WOOHP missions she wears a red Catsuit.

Clover attended Beverly Hills High School in Beverly Hills, California, along with Sam and Alex. Unlike Sam, Clover's academic performance was generally not stellar. In the episode " Queen for a Day", Alex mentioned that Clover got a D in her astronomy class. Clover also revealed in the episode " Alex Gets Schooled" that her grades were "mostly A's and B's", along with a C in metal shop, suggesting that her academic performance seemed karakter re zero improve.

In the episode " Mime Your Own Business", Clover once downloaded one of her English essays off the internet. In the episode " Spy Soccer", Clover mentioned that she is a part of the Fashion Victims Club, an organization that "provides charitable donations in the form of trendy clothes to the stylistically challenged". In the episode " Evil Bouquets Are Sooo Passe", Clover got extremely jealous when Sam dated her ex-boyfriend Fernando, despite the fact they broke up two years ago.

Hinting he may of been her first love or first serious boyfriend as they only separated due to him moving away. This episode showed Clover's trait of jealousy, despite this she shows great gratitude when Sam dumped Fernando to avoid hurting her feelings; revealing she was genuinely heart broken and not just being bitter, although it can be admitted she was at the start of the episode.

In the episode " Halloween", Clover was shown to be the second most mature after Samantha. As Alex was whining to go trick or treating, edging Chucky on to misbehave, although Alex karakter re zero better with children than Samantha karakter re zero Clover. So it could be assumed their maturity is in age older, Clover being in the middle. At Malibu University it is speculated that Clover is doing well or at least passing because she has completed one semester of school.

At one point, she tells her friends, "You're looking at the master of the last-minute study sesh!", meaning that like a lot of college students, she tends to cram. Personality Of the 3, Clover's the one who acts like the most typical teenage girl—obsessed with fashion, boys, and her appearance.

Ironically, when it comes to bad guys, she's usually the one who's karakter re zero in some way, be it becoming a bodybuilder, a sumo, or even a human catgirl. She was even dressed in a royal dress by a villain who wanted a consort to rule the world alongside him. Even though Clover tends to be more focused on materialistic and superficial substances than on her missions, she does understand the importance of friendship and teamwork.

Clover is the most girly and flirtatious of the main group. She is known to have had an abundance of boyfriends and will do anything to get a guy. In almost all the episodes, while she is on a mission, she is always talking about a guy she wants to date or talking about an outfit she's going karakter re zero wear on a date.

This is strange, because during elementary school, she was always bullied by her classmates and mainly by one boy, because they regarded her as being particularly easy to trick, as we are told in the episode " Spies vs. Spies". The initial B-story of part 3 of the episode " Evil Promotion Much?" had her struggling to find a date for her debutante party, as she had dated every single boy in the city.

Her love of boys can almost (if not entirely) be matched by her love of fashion and beauty. Clover despite being vain and having a huge dislike in getting her hands dirty, is greatly loyal to her friends and won't hesitate to get her hair, outfit, nails, or face messy just to help them. In " Matchmaker" Clover put herself on dating hiatus after her former lover Chris bought them tickets to watch a monster truck rally on their "3 day anniversary".

Because of this hiatus she was able karakter re zero save the Beverly High's Valentines dance. She also managed to avoid Eugene Karakter re zero dating booth and successfully humiliated him by exposing the gadget he used to change to any girls ideal form causing the girls to break up with him and his later arrest. Clover is the most intimately knowledgeable of her friends about pop culture topics, especially topics having to do with attractive male celebrities.

She has been known to use questionable methods to obtain such information, but nothing truly illegal. She is also rather determined in this regard, as this is what attracts her to a dark knight who chose her as his queen, but she ultimately turned him down when she discovered that he was a male chauvinist.

Being a stereotypical "American teenage girl", as well as being a native of Los Angeles, California (as revealed in " Evil Promotion Much?"), Clover speaks with a strong valley girl accent by saying things like "totally", and adding the word "like" and "much?".

Some episode names are a play on her accent. Clover is constantly the victim of karakter re zero from villains like Diminutive Small and Geraldine Husk. Physical Appearance Clover is a tall, athletic, slender, beautiful and attractive girl with white skin, blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and a trendy fashion style. Her hairstyle is a fluffy, personalized medium length bob cut that she calls a coif bob in " Totally Switched Again", which has the rear and sides are flared out while the front bangs, called a mop, come out over the left side of her face and flips when her shakes horizontally.

Clover's style in the Season 1-2 was mostly capris and pants. Later in Seasons 3-5, she wore more skirts and dresses and incorporated more high heels. Most of her bathing suits are bikinis, with the exception of " The Getaway" where she wears a white one-piece bathing suit with a red towel. In " The Eraser" she wears an orange bikini. Her primary outfit in Season 1 is a red long sleeved loose collared button-up shirt which shows her front belly, pink pants and red heeled boots, some of her primary outfit has been altered as her long sleeves became short sleeves and her boots became heels.

In " Stuck in the Middle Ages with You" The color of her primary outfit from her button-up shirt and pants was pink and light green with a belt as her addition and her boots are replaced with brown heels. In Matchmaker during the science class inside the lab, Clover retains this outfit but her button-up shirt is darker, her belt is blue and her pants revert back to the original pink. But in " Zooney World", her outfit remains the same only her belt changed to dark pink and her pants changed to blue and her heels are light pink.

In " Malled" the color is now replacing cyan and orange as the pants she wears has a three blue flowery design in each sides of her leg and her heels remain brown. But in " Super Nerd Much?" the color of both of her outfit and heels changed into a different shades of pink and she accessorizes with a hairclip at the left side of her hair and a matching pink bracelet on her left wrist.

In " Black Widows", "Matchmaker", " Stark Raving Mad", " Feng Shui Is Like Sooo Passe", and " Head Shrinker Much?"; Clover is seen wearing a long sleeved v-neck shirt in different shades of pink as the sleeves of her shirt reach through her elbows, magenta colored cargo jeans and pink sneakers with yellow linings attached.

She also wears a pink watch on her left wrist. The shirt that Clover wears resembles Diana Lombard's shirt from her primary outfit in the cartoon series Martin Mystery. In " Another Evil Boyfriend" Clover wears a light pink sleeveless top with a pink trim and a matching straps along with two ribbons in each karakter re zero and the sign "1" on the center of her top which is dark pink, a matching dark pink denim skirt with a ripped design at the edge of her skirt and white warrior flats.

In " Evil Sorority and " Totally Mystery Much?" The outfit she wears previously has been slight altered and change color from pink to a different shades of purple; her sleeveless top is no longer have ribbons and design, her denim skirt is replaced with denim shorts with a black belt and her warrior flats are replaced with a matching cowboy boots.

In Season 6 during the end of ” Clowning Around!” and the two part finale of “ So Totally Versailles!“ Clover wears a dark pink short sleeved button dress with a light blue belt to her waist and a matching brown karakter re zero sandals.

In Season 6's 2 part finale “So Totally Versailles!” Clover wears her disguised form is a different shades of hot pink and white long sleeved dress as her hair and face transformed into a classic styled look as her hair is extended in a classic bun with ringlets.

Friends Alexandra Alex is one of Clover's closest friends. She helps her out whenever she needs her. Samantha Sam is one of Clover's closest friends. Sam does get annoyed with Clover sometimes, but they usually become friends again at the end of the episode. Jerry Lewis Clover respects Jerry in a easy way, however she would do what he says.

She doesn't think Jerry isn't fun enough but loves to help out on many missions. Britney Clover has take a liking to Britney, because a reason of being a cheerleader makes her happy of it. However, she became frustrated at Britney when Jerry assigned her to WOOHP Australia to Blaine much to Clover's envy and disdain.

Enemies Mandy Mandy is Clover's primary enemy. The two girls have apparently hated each other ever since they first met, according to a comment Sam made in " Attack of the 50 Foot Mandy". In " Totally Spies! The Movie" Mandy instantly went on the offensive and attacked Clover, Sam, and Alex.

However, in the series Clover is the target of Mandy's worst actions. In " Malled", Mandy attempted to frame Clover for shoplifting even though Sam was the person who made the verbal counterattack. Caitlin Caitlin is Alex's rival, although Clover has very little interaction with either of Mandy's two best friends.

The majority of her interaction with Caitlin only happens when Mandy is present. The most interaction Clover ever had with Caitlin was in the Season 4 finale, " Totally Busted".

Dominique Dominique is Sam's rival, although Clover has very little karakter re zero with either of Mandy's two best friends. The majority of her interaction with Dominique only happens when Mandy is present. The most interaction Clover ever had with Dominique was in the Season 4 finale, " Totally Busted".

Mindy Whenever she made an appearance in Season 5, she was always with Mandy, and she annoys the spies generally the same way her cousin does, as Mindy's essentially just a blonde clone of Mandy. Romantic interests Clover seems to like a variety of different males - some with tanned or white skin, and others with blond, brown, or black hair. The only traits common to all of them include the following: the fact that they are usually taller than Clover, considered attractive, and have a certain "quirk" about them.

karakter re zero

However, the male villains that she encounters take love and attraction a step further, they want to make her their queen. She has thus been made queen by 3 villains so far. Black Knight While not really a romantic interest, the Black Knight selected her to be his queen in " Stuck in the Middle Ages with You", apparently liking her fiery personality. He even comments on how lovely she looks in her dress before acting condescending with her right afterwards. However, he would not have treated her like a queen (with love, karakter re zero, consideration, and respect), and given her any power to rule with karakter re zero, as he states that his ideal queen was "all about obedience".

Unfortunately, she did not return any affection to him and she ended up arresting him. Blaine Blaine was Clover's boyfriend from Season 5, though they later broke up before Season 6 and becomes her second ex-boyfriend after Fernando in post Season 6.

Prior to the break-up, he was sent to Australia and they agreed to keep seeing each other. In the episode where Britney was sent to Australia to be Blaine's partner, Clover was angered when Britney got a romantic crush on Blaine from seeing his picture. In the end of Baddies on a Blimp, Clover wants to date with him but he had enough dating girls in L.A. after previously dated Mandy as the last girl from L.A.

making Clover had enough dating with her ex-boyfriends. Dean Dean is the only boy who can resist Clover's flirting. Like Alex and Sam, Clover still holds romantic interest in Dean even into season 5.

Gelee Gelee is another example of someone who was attracted to Clover but not someone she herself was attracted to. In " The Iceman Cometh" Gelee stated that Clover would be the perfect "Ice Queen", based purely on her beauty.

He even created a throne for her to sit on.

He was obsessed with chess, and challenged Clover to many games with him. However, Clover was easily bored with the game and helped defeat him. Kyle Katz Clover fell for him in, " The Suavest Spy". Even sharing a dance with him at the ball. Kyle is also one of the few guys who are intellectual Clover has fallen for.

Fernando In " Evil Bouquets Are Sooo Passe", it was revealed he was Clover's ex boyfriend from two years ago. (During this episode.) They only split up due to him moving away and Clover quickly began crushing on him again, even being hurt when Sam started to date him. It is heavily hinted he was her first serious boyfriend.

Tad Clover had a massive crush on Tad and flirted with him constantly in " Totally Spies! The Movie", suggesting how he was cool and attractive. Although Tad never said anything on the matter; he seemed pleased with Clover's interest in him. However after his betrayal, Clover quickly got over him and even stated how "lame" he was.

Salty Schooner Just like with her experiences with the Black Knight and Gelee, Clover was selected to be the queen of a villain; this instance it was Salty Schooner, a archetypical pirate bent on taking the WOOHPtanic and using it to rule the seven seas. After seeing her in her pirate chic clothing, karakter re zero falls in love with her and captures her. When she is taken aboard his vessel, he tries to woo her and later proposes marriage to her, planning on making her his wife and pirate queen, but she refuses and defeats him in single sword combat before WOOHP arrests him and his crew.

21.1 Overview ¶ JMeter includes the pattern matching software Apache Jakarta ORO There is some documentation for this on the Jakarta web-site, for example a karakter re zero of the pattern matching characters There is also documentation on an older incarnation of the product at OROMatcher User's guide, which might prove useful.

The pattern matching is very similar to the pattern matching in Perl. A full installation of Perl will include plenty of documentation on regular expressions - look for perlrequick, perlretut, perlre and perlreref. It is worth stressing the difference between " contains" and " matches", as used on the Response Assertion test element: " contains" means that the regular expression matched at least some part of the target, so ' alphabet' " contains" ' ph.b.' because the regular expression matches the substring ' phabe'.

" matches" means that the regular expression matched the whole target.

karakter re zero

So ' alphabet' is " matched" by ' al.*t'. In this case, it is equivalent to wrapping the regular expression in ^ and $, viz ' ^al.*t$'. However, this is not always the case. For example, the regular expression ' alp.lp.*' is " contained" in ' alphabet', but does not " match" ' alphabet'. Why? Because when the pattern matcher finds the sequence ' alp' in ' alphabet', it stops trying any other combinations - and ' alp' is not the same as ' alphabet', as it does not include ' habet'.

21.2 Examples ¶ Extract single string Suppose you want to match the following portion of a web-page: name="file" value="readme.txt"> and you want to extract readme.txt. A suitable regular expression would be: name="file" value="(.+?)"> The special characters above are: ( and ) these enclose the portion of the match string to be returned. match any character + one or more times ?

don't be greedy, i.e. stop when first match succeeds Note: without the ?, the .+ would continue past the first "> until it found the last possible "> - which is probably not what was intended.

Note: although the above expression works, it's more efficient to use the following expression: name="file" value="([^"]+)"> where [^"] - means match anything except " In this case, the matching engine can stop looking as soon as it sees the first ", whereas in the previous case the engine has to check that it has found "> karakter re zero than say " >. Extract multiple strings Suppose you want to match the following portion of a web-page: name="file.name" value="readme.txt" and you want to extract both file.name and readme.txt.

A suitable regular expression would be: name="([^"]+)" value="([^"]+)" This would create 2 groups, which could be used in the JMeter Regular Expression Extractor template as $1$ and $2$.

The JMeter Regex Extractor saves the values of the groups in additional variables. For example, assume: • Reference Name: MYREF • Regex: name="(.+?)" value="(.+?)" • Template: $1$$2$ 21.3 Line mode ¶ Karakter re zero pattern matching behaves in various slightly different ways, depending on the setting of the multi-line and single-line modifiers. Note that the single-line and multi-line operators have nothing to do with each other; they can be specified independently.

Single-line mode Single-line mode only affects how karakter re zero ' .' meta-character is interpreted. Default behaviour is that ' .' matches any character except newline. In single-line mode, ' .' also matches newline. Multi-line mode Multi-line mode only affects how the meta-characters ' ^' and ' $' are interpreted.

Default behaviour is that ' ^' and ' $' only match at the very beginning and end of the string. When Multi-line mode is used, the ' ^' metacharacter matches at the beginning of every line, and the ' $' metacharacter matches at the end of every line. 21.4 Meta characters ¶ Regular expressions use certain characters as meta characters - these characters have a special meaning to the RE engine.

Such characters must be escaped by preceding them with karakter re zero (backslash) in order to treat them as ordinary characters. Here is a list of the meta characters and their meaning (please check the ORO documentation if in doubt). ( and ) grouping [ and ] character classes { and } repetition *, + and ? repetition .

karakter re zero

wild-card character \ escape character - alternatives ^ and $ start and end of string or line The following Perl5 extended regular expressions are supported by ORO. (?#text) An embedded comment causing text to be ignored. (?:regexp) Groups things like " ()" but doesn't cause the group match to be saved. (?=regexp) A zero-width positive lookahead assertion.

karakter re zero

For example, \w+(?=\s) matches a word followed by whitespace, without including whitespace in the MatchResult. (?!regexp) A zero-width negative lookahead assertion. For example foo(?!bar) matches any occurrence of " foo" that isn't followed by " bar".

Remember that this is a zero-width assertion, which means that a(?!b)d will match ad because a is followed by a character that is not b (the d) and a d follows the zero-width assertion. (?imsx) One or more embedded pattern-match modifiers. i enables case insensitivity, m enables multiline treatment of the input, s enables single line treatment of the input, and x enables extended whitespace comments. Note that (?<=regexp) - lookbehind - is not supported. 21.5 Placement of modifiers ¶ Modifiers can be placed anywhere in the regex, and apply from that point onwards.

[A bug in ORO means that they cannot be used at the very end of the regex. However they would have no effect there anyway.] The single-line (?s) and multi-line (?m) modifiers are normally placed at the start of the regex. The ignore-case modifier (?i) may be usefully applied to just part of a regex, for example: Match ExAct case or (?i)ArBiTrARY(?-i) case would match Match ExAct case or arbitrary case as well as Match ExAct case or ARBitrary case, karakter re zero not Match exact case or ArBiTrARY case.

21.6 Testing Regular Expressions ¶ Since JMeter 2.4, the listener View Results Tree include a RegExp Tester to test regular expressions directly on sampler response data. There is a Website to test Java Regular expressions. Another approach is to karakter re zero a simple test plan to test the regular expressions. The Java Request sampler can be used to generate a sample, or the HTTP Sampler can be used to load a file.

Add a Debug Sampler and a Tree View Listener and changes to the regular expression can be tested quickly, without needing to access any external servers. • < Prev • Index • Next >
