At the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, audiences got their first look at Peter Parker’s new, homemade Spider-Man suit. No Way Home marked the end of Tom Holland’s first Spider-Man trilogy and a new beginning for the character in the MCU. Due to Doctor Strange’s spell, no one remembered Peter at the end of No Way Home. Left with no friends or family, Peter had to become independent and make a fresh start as Spider-Man, including creating a new version of his iconic outfit.

One way No Way Home signaled the beginning of a spiderman no way home suit era for Spider-Man in the MCU was through a new Spider-Man suit. During No Way Home’s final scene, Peter donned his new suit and climbed out his apartment window. A sewing machine and spare fabric were visible on the table behind him, meaning that he had sewn his own suit for the first time since his original one in Captain America: Civil War.

As Spider-Man, he swung across the city, showing off his more comic-accurate bright blue and red suit. Related: No Way Home's New Spider-Man Suit Sets Up The Symbiote (Not Stark's Suit) However, it is unclear why Peter needed to create a new suit in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Throughout his time in the MCU, Peter had been collecting multiple suits built from Tony Stark’s technology, so he should have had plenty at the ready. Due to Doctor Strange’s spell and Peter’s character development, however, this new suit was actually entirely necessary. The spell not only erased all memories of Peter but may have deleted all records of him as well.

Due to this, Stark technology might not have worked for Peter anymore. Like the Iron Man suit, Spider-Man’s suits probably used facial recognition technology. After Doctor Strange’s spell, it's likely that Peter’s Stark Spider-Man suits would not recognize him. Unable to use any of his earlier suits, Peter had to create his own.

Additionally, creating spiderman no way home suit new suit marked the end of Peter’s first character arc in the MCU. In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Tony Stark told Peter, “ If you're nothing without this suit, then you shouldn't have it.” Since then, Peter had been working to prove that he was worthy of being Spider-Man and using the suits Tony gave him.

However, Peter was always able to rely on Tony, his technology, and other adults. After No Way Home though, Peter had no allies and no technology. However, Peter had learned that he was a hero even without a special Stark suit, so he was able to continue being Spider-Man on his own with his own suit. Due to this, Peter having to sew a new suit was good for his character.

Since Spider-Man joined the MCU, one of the biggest criticisms surrounding his character has been that he was too dependent upon Iron Man. Tony directly or indirectly influenced many of Peter’s decisions, and many viewers believed the MCU was preparing Spider-Man to replace Iron Man, which was reinforced by Spider-Man’s Iron Man-like suits. With his own suit though, Peter can continue to grow as a hero in ways that better match his comic book counterpart.

Although Doctor Strange’s spell forced Peter to need to make a new suit at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the change marked an opportunity to develop his character in new ways. Spider-Man: No Way Home has finally swung into theaters, and fans of the web-slinging hero couldn’t be happier with the film. It boasts a 99 percent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes as the multiverse collided and villains from previous universes arrived to crash the Marvel Cinematic Universe party.

This allowed Tom Holland’s Spider-Man the chance to work with his two movie predecessors in a desperate attempt to restore the multiverse and redeem the villains along the way.

But on top of multiversal fun, fans finally got some answers to some important questions, including how long Nick Fury has been away, Ned's future in the MCU and Doctor Strange's current role in the magic community. But one other reveal the No Way Home made was that Peter Parker’s black Spider-Man suit isn’t of future significance. In fact, the reason that Peter wore it was pretty simple and actually kind of comical.

RELATED: No Way Home’s Obvious Spider-Man Leaks Are Hiding Something Much Bigger Ever since a toy for No Way Home revealed Spider-Man wearing a black suit, fans have been running rampant with their theories.

A lot of speculation proposed that the black suit involved a symbiote. The theory got its launching point because of how Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man donned a black suit as Venom possessed him in Spider-Man 3. So, many thought that, maybe, Venom would show up and temporarily take over Holland’s web-slinging hero.

Venom, of course, did make a cameo in the post-credits scene, but he wasn’t the reason for the black suit. Other fans thought that Holland’s black suit involved magic. It was no secret that Peter and Doctor Strange tampered with space-time at the film’s outset.

That led to a very popular theory that Spider-Man’s black spiderman no way home suit was a completely new, stealthy suit, imbued with Strange’s magic. And it was a viable idea, given the clearly-magical gauntlet on Spider-Man’s wrist.

However, it also turned out to be wrong. During the course of the film, Holland’s Spider-Man wore a number of different suits. He started with his Far from Home, black and red one, but he quickly ran into a problem. Thanks to Mysterios’s big reveal and Jamerson’s reporting, most people stopped trusting Spider-Man. In fact, one Mysterio supporter flung a bucket of green paint onto the webbed hero as he was standing on a sidewalk.

In response to that, Peter wore his Iron Spider suit, but when Doc Ock got hold of some of its nanotechnology, the hero was out of options.

He had to go and capture Electro and Sandman using the magic gauntlet that Strange gave to him, but he couldn’t just show up as Peter with a magic gauntlet. And without a viable suit to wear, Peter had to improvise, simply turning his normal suit inside out, and the effect was pretty cool -- a black suit with gold piping.

It wasn’t long after that that Peter wore his normal suit again, and later, he dons a new suit with gold accents. So, while the reign of Peter's black suit was incredibly short and mostly forgettable, it will be remembered as one of the more memorable looks of Holland's tenure.

Now that Spider-Man: No Way Home has swung its way out of theaters, fans are currently analyzing every detail they can regarding the new film. With so many characters, crossovers, references, and Easter eggs dispersed throughout the epic blockbuster – it’s easy to miss little details.

And, as it turns out, many fans missed one major detail regarding the final suit worn by Tom Holland’s Peter Parker at the end of No Way Home. As fans know, Tom Holland’s Peter Parker has a new Spider-Man suit at the end of the film, one which utilizes elements from the costumes worn by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

spiderman no way home suit

It’s a touching tribute to his fellow Spider-Men, and one that gives a glimpse of the character’s growth that we’ll be seeing more of in coming films. But there’s one detail that makes it all the more clear that this suit is an homage to all things Spider-Man.

As revealed in artwork from merchandise illustrator Bob Brunette, the following image gives us a clearer look at the suit than spiderman no way home suit before. He included the following caption: “This is my final illustration from the No Way Home project. I absolutely loved this ending scene and the beautiful design of this new suit.

It was such an honour to have the opportunity to work on all three Spideys for this film. I’m still processing it all but I hope you enjoy these images. This really meant a lot to me.” Now, for those who look close enough, you’ll notice that the chest logo on the No Way Home suit isn’t black. While most fans expected it to be the same black color as the ones worn by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, it turns out that isn’t the case.

It’s actually a dark shade of gold. As such, it seems to be much more fitting with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man suits including his Iron Spider design. It goes to show that all three Spider-Men had their influence on the new suit. A post shared by Rob Brunette (@robbrunette) It’s definitely a great touch, and one that shows how much work was put into the film – whether it was a more obvious detail or something pleasantly subtle.

Fans will be able to view Spider-Man: No Way Home digitally on March 22, 2022. The physical release which includes 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD copies of the film, will be released on April 12, 2022. The latest installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Spider-Man franchise continues the story of Tom Holland's Peter Parker after S pider-Man: Far From Home's shocking conclusion.

Despite the entire world knowing that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, that didn't stop Spider-Man: No Way Home from putting him back in various suits.

In fact, the film's story actually results in more Spider-Man suits being included than any other Spider-Man movie.

spiderman no way home suit

The story of Spider-Man: No Way Home primarily followed Peter's quest to help five multiverse villains who suddenly came to the MCU. This came after he worked with Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to try and make the world forget he was Spider-Man. Strange's broken spell pulled Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Electro (Jamie Foxx), Sandman (Thomas Hayden Church), and Lizard (Rhys Ifans) from their original universes because they already knew Spider-Man's secret identity.

All of this happens as Peter tries to fix his life and those of the people closest to him, and the various opponents and circumstances require different Spider-Man suits in most cases. Related: Spider-Man: No Way Home's Biggest Spoiler Cameos Explained Tom Holland's Spider-Man is no stranger to wearing multiple suits during his MCU tenure, as the shared universe frequently puts him in a new costume.

Outside of the homemade suit from Spider-Man: Homecoming, the original Stark suit from Captain America: Civil War, and the SHIELD stealth suit from Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter wears some of his other more recent outfits again in the new movie. But Spider-Man: No Way Home also features a new MCU Spider-Man suit and some iconic older suits thanks to Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's return.

Holland's primary Spider-Man suit in Spider-Man: No Way Home is the red and black suit created in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Peter Parker invented this suit himself using Tony Stark's technology prior to battling Mysterio. This suit is featured in No Way Home right from the start, as the movie picks up immediately after Spider-Man's secret identity is revealed.

Peter is wearing the red and black suit at the time since he just finished taking Michelle for a swing. For a good portion of the movie, he is unable to use this suit, though, after Mysterio supporters stained it with green paint. Peter does his best to clean it, but Aunt May is the one who finally gets the Spider-Man suit back to how it looked before. Spider-Man: No Way Spiderman no way home suit also features the return of the Iron Spider suit.

The high-tech armored suit was introduced at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming when Tony attempts to recruit Peter to join the Avengers. He doesn't actually wear the Iron Spider suit until Avengers: Infinity War, where it became his primary costume for the film and Avengers: Endgame. It was also featured in Spider-Man: Far From Home and came in handy again in the sequel. Peter uses the Iron Spider suit to fight Doc Ock, and the nanotechnology merges with his tentacles to give Peter control over the robotic arms.

Spider-Man's Black & Gold Suit One of the new Spider-Man suits featured in Spider-Man: No Way Home is the black and gold suit. It was featured in the marketing for the movie, although the details of the suit weren't known beyond an apparent magical upgrade. The black and gold Spider-Man suit is actually just Peter's red and black suit flipped inside out, though.

This explains some of the suit's irregularities, such as the exposed wiring and technology woven into spiderman no way home suit fabric. Spider-Man only uses this version of the suit when he first encounters Electro and Sandman and then finds Norman Osborn, as Aunt May cleans the regular side of the suit shortly after.

The magic enhancements come from the gauntlet Doctor Strange upgraded, which is then used in Spider-Man's later suits. Spider-Man: No Way Home's ending features Tom Holland's Peter in the Integrated Spider-Man Suit.

spiderman no way home suit

This suit is a combination of every previous suit effectively. The red and black suit is the base, but the new gold pieces come from how the Iron Spider nanotechnology reforms after Peter gets it back from Doc Ock.

It also should feature the upgraded gauntlet from Doctor Strange, although Peter doesn't have a use for its powers at this point. The gauntlet sends those touched by the magic web back to Strange's prison, but Peter was working to cure the villains during Spider-Man: No Way Home's finale. Spider-Man's New MCU Suit Spider-Man gets a new MCU suit ahead of Spider-Man 4 as well.

Once the world forgot that Peter is Spider-Man, he began starting his new life. While this included renting an apartment and studying for the GED, it also meant designing a new Spider-Man suit for himself.

Peter no longer has the resources of Tony Stark at his disposal, though, so he had to return to the basics and sew a suit by hand. The MCU's new Spider-Man suit is much closer to his original looks and the character's classic comic appearances. In the brief look given at the costume, the red and blue coloring easily sticks out. While Spider-Man's original MCU suits were primarily red and blue, that went away as they became more reliant on Stark technology. Now, it seems that Spider-Man is returning to his roots when it comes to his costume.

As was long rumored to be the case, Tobey Maguire returned in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Maguire's return to the iconic role nearly 15 years after he last played Peter Parker in Spider-Man 3 begins with him in normal clothes, but he does eventually put on his Spider-Man suit again.

It is the same suit he was last seen wearing when he battled Venom. Although Peter is several years older now, the Spider-Man suit still fits and looks great thanks on the big screen again. Tobey Maguire only wears the Spider-Man suit during Spider-Man: No Way Home's final fight. Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man Suit Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man suit is also seen again as he too returned in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Unlike Maguire, Garfield enters the movie fully suited up in his The Amazing Spider-Man 2 costume.

This is why Michelle and Ned Leeds originally mistake him to be spiderman no way home suit Peter Parker. There are plenty of opportunities to see Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man in the red and blue suit once again.

While he is unmasked for most of his screentime, Garfield does fully suit up for Spider-Man: No Way Home's final spiderman no way home suit.

Despite the darker path teased for him after Gwen Stacy's death, there is still a sign that he's the same energetic Spider-Man who carried the Amazing Spider-Man franchise.

Even though everybody knows that Tom Holland’s contract has now ended with the conclusion of his Spider-Man trilogy, Kevin Feige has confirmed that Marvel will be working again with the actor. Due to the devastating conclusion in No Way Home – when Peter allowed Doctor Strange to cast a spell that made everyone forget about him – Peter now has somewhat of a blank slate as he begins a new chapter of his life. We, of course, fully expect him to try and rekindle his relationship with MJ and Ned, but the web-slinger may also have a new wave of enemies and allies on the horizon – now that Kingpin and Daredevil have been released into the MCU.

I was like, no one wants to see an old, fat guy in a Spider-Man costume.” Garfield played Spider-Man in two comic book tentpoles directed by Marc Webb, “The Amazing-Spider Man” and “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.” While rumors circulated for well over a year that Garfield would be reprising the web-slinger role in “No Way Home” opposite iterations of Spider-Man played by Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire, the actor kept his involvement a secret from nearly everyone in his life for two years.

There were three exceptions, however.

Garfield told Ellen Degeneres this week that he told the truth to his father, mother and brother. “It was fun to keep it secret, because you know when you’re planning a surprise birthday party for someone and they’re like, ‘I hate surprises.
