I'm pleased with it Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2017 That's a really good headset. I'm pleased with it, however it got some slight issues.Pros: - Good sound. Fits both for listening music and gaming (nice option switching the 7.1 technology between Dolby / DTS Headphone X). - Great battery time, 12 hours as promised with LEDs off. - Nice mic, sound is clear and without white noise.

- Programmable buttons. I needed only one though for PTT in voice chats, no idea how to put them to another use. - Software: LEDs, buttons, equalizer, ability to adjust the sidetone steelseries siberia 200 mic. - The headset is adjustable, the cushions are comfortable and provide a decent noise isolation - The construction seems pretty sturdy.

Had Steelseries Siberia v2, they didn't look very solid from the beginning. - Price. Got it for $102, very nice for this price.Cons: - Head cushion came off on one side after putting the headset on for the first time - Distance is a bit low, already lagging in another room (1 wall, 12 feet away) - Speakers make a weird and pretty loud click sound when headset is waking up - Buttons take time to adjust, the volume regulator is kind of too much sensitiveThe cons really don't matter when the headset is in use, so I'm not paying attention to them.---Update.After a year of usage, here are my further comments: - Battery life is almost as good as a year ago, and that's nice - Head and ear cushions are still soft and haven't gone flat - The joint on the right cup has developed a really annoying creaking sound, which is (thankfully) not present once you put the headset on and don't wobble your head too much - If you wake up the device while the PC is playing sound, the headset will go silent until you reboot it I am typically a big fan of Logitech, but this experience has really thrown me off.

I enjoyed the headset a lot - when it worked. I am now about to be on my second replacement, and while they EVENTUALLY get back to you, the headset seems to me, in my experience, to be poorly built. 2 of them have failed on me due to obvious manufacturer defects as nothing has happened out of the ordinary to the mic. Again, the headset does deserve credit where it is due: it is a great headset when it is working properly.

I am simply disappointed in the lack of quality in the build as it's failed twice, and this would not really be an issue for me if the customer service was something to be happy with. However, as it is probably obvious to those of steelseries siberia 200 reading by now, the service leaves a lot to be desired.

Both times I opened a ticket with them about the two separate failures they took well over a week to steelseries siberia 200, even after trying to escalate. Thankfully the first steelseries siberia 200 around I had a backup headset, but it was old and has failed now. After finally replying this time, where I made it very, very clear it was a hardware issue and not a software issue or configuration issue or a driver issue, they still replied giving me all the advice I had quite literally just told them I attempted already.

My issue this time is that the mic only works if it is in a very specific position which is a real pain in the a**. I made it very clear, but it is obvious to me that they do NOT read the tickets. Whether this is due to high volume or simply lack of caring, either answer is less than stellar. They did finally offer to RMA it after about a month of waiting, but again, did not read any questions I had as I was asking things in our back and forth (assuming it's not just a bot/copy paste, which it certainly seems to be).

I asked if it was possible to do some form of advance exchange RMA and they completely ignored it, more than likely as they did not read it. Totally unacceptable, regardless of the answer. The answer, if you couldn't guess by now based on the rest of their service, is no. They require you to send it in and essentially wait 3-4 weeks to get it back. I can't knock them for this too much as many companies still do this, but more and more companies are offering advance exchange RMAs even if they require your card number in the case of not sending it back in time, so the inconvenience isn't there.

I use the headset for work/personal use and it will force me to buy a new headset in the interim, or do something like that to bridge me through until I get it back.

At this point I will likely buy another headset and just keep the RMA'd one as a backup, because I am sick of trying with their service. It really has been frustrating. I will also give a list of Pros/Cons as far as when it is working, as my goal isn't entirely to rag on the product, more the service and the fact that it has failed 2 times which has completely removed any possibility of purchasing a Logitech headset in the future.

Pros: - Good sound quality (though see below update for newer info on this) - Simple to set up/use - Easy to understand and use controls - Good system for hardware muting - Easily customizable RGB lighting, though this is pretty standard at this level today - Simple to travel with due to the dongle being stored in the headset itself Cons: - Range could be better, especially if there are walls between you and the dongle.

Not a terrible range, but can be frustrating as sometimes if you are 10-15ft away you can only hear if you turn your head in the proper direction. - Plates covering the battery/USB dongle holder are a little loose and can pop off at times if bumped - Will make a noise every time you steelseries siberia 200 the volume, or every time it is quiet for a few seconds and sound plays again soon. This is to save battery but the notification of it turning on/off can be pretty annoying at times - I find that they can start to fall off of your head easily forcing you to catch them as it is kind of a loose fit, even if you have it tight around your head.

Ear cups don't really stay tight around the ears, but this is due to it being for comfort, which it does succeed at That's about it for this review. Hopefully I don't sound too sour, but it is definitely worth noting how poor the service is and how likely you are to struggle getting any good support if something goes wrong, which again, in my personal experience has been much more likely than it should.

I could definitely be the outlier but from a subjective point of view from my personal experience, I would rate this a 1 overall simply because it now feels like a waste of money. UPDATE: I wanted to drop by as it seems this review has gotten some attention and add a bit more information.

As much as I would love to rate this higher and give a great success story, I have ultimately given up on the headset. Once I got the replacement discussed above, I let it sit in the box for a while as I did indeed get another headset as a replacement for it just to keep this one as a backup.

I eventually started using it again due to issues with the other (non-Logitech) headset (it never ends!) and it worked fine. for a while. It is still in working condition and I am NOT looking for a new one or another RMA, but here is my experience with Artemis Spectrum G933 #3: After about one month of use it appears that the headset's mic quality is just terrible.

All of my friends would complain or comment about it when talking in VoIP services. The headset also has a frequent buzzing/ticking of a clock type noise in the left earcup. The noise is subtle and not really a problem when other sounds are playing, but again, it speaks to me to the quality as I'm on the 3rd one! Steelseries siberia 200 these 2 issues I am simply done buying Logitech headsets; I've had too many problems with them.

Unfortunately I would steer clear. Personally I ended up buying a Blue Yeti Blackout edition so I could get far superior mix quality (which, to be fair, is expected with a desktop mic anyway) and stop relying on the mic on this damned headset!

I am still using it for sound pretty often and I am tempted to up it to 2 stars because I clearly find some use from it, but I must say that I regret the purchase and for that reason I am leaving it as a 1. Hopefully future headsets will be far superior, but I won't ever know. That's a really good headset. I'm pleased with steelseries siberia 200, however steelseries siberia 200 got some slight issues. Cons: - Head cushion came off on one side after putting the headset on for the first time - Distance is a bit low, already lagging in another room (1 wall, 12 feet away) - Speakers make a weird and pretty loud click sound when headset is waking up - Buttons take time to adjust, the volume regulator is kind of too much sensitive The cons really don't matter when the headset is in use, so I'm not paying attention to them.

--- Update. After a year of usage, here are my further comments: - Battery life is almost as good as a year ago, and that's nice - Head and ear cushions are still soft and haven't gone flat - The joint on the right cup has developed a really annoying creaking sound, which is (thankfully) not present once you put the headset on and don't wobble your head too much - Steelseries siberia 200 you wake up the device while the PC is playing sound, the headset will go silent until you reboot it Amazon Customer 4.0 out of 5 stars That's a really good headset.

I'm pleased with it Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2017 That's a really good headset. I'm pleased with it, however it steelseries siberia 200 some slight issues. Pros: - Good sound.

When I first set up the headset it was steelseries siberia 200 to update the firmware, this caused about 2 hours worth of troubleshooting before I was finally able to get the headset to be operable. Once I did have it connected the headset was outstanding as the sound quality was good and the headset itself was comfortable.

Another update to the firmware was prompted and without thinking I clicked yes to install. The updater again failed; however, this time I was not able to recover functionality. I have had the headset for a little over a month and this failure with the firmware has forced me to use another headset. I cannot recommend this headset until Logitech gets their firmware issue sorted out.

I would also like to note that I put in a help ticket, 2 days ago, for the issue and the only response I have received thus far is an automated message that states the issue with the headset in my own words. I've always been a fan of Logitech. I have the G610 keyboard. I have the G402 mouse. I used the G35 headset (bought three of them) for a good 7 years. This headset sounds AMAZING when you get it. When it works, it is the bees' knees, for sure. However.

At times, the sound inverts, where you can hear footsteps louder than all other sounds, or random crackling will appear. And, before you post your wonderful copy/paste solution to everything, Logitech support, I have definitely updated the firmware to the most recent, reinstalled the software entirely, and reset the headset to defaults. I've reinstalled Windows since, and I've used this headset on multiple machines--same result.

Also, steelseries siberia 200 wireless has about a 10 foot radius, so if you're looking for distance (I never used the wireless for this reason), look elsewhere.

Do not buy this headset if you value consistency. I will not buy another Steelseries siberia 200 headset or any other product. *** Update! As I type this, the microphone and headset both are not detected. Stay away from this product. *** At the bottom you'll find my previous 4 star review of the headset. That was after steelseries siberia 200 1 week of the purchase. This is a review after a month and 1/4 of usage.

The headset occasionally stops working then resets on its own. This leaves me with around 15 seconds of silence. There are frequent updates that keep patching the same thing. I've had to update my headset in steelseries siberia 200 to fix a bug where the mic wouldn't be off after being pulled down around 5 times. The head pain issues went away after a while but seem to come back occasionally.

Finally, the reason why I'm giving the headset two stars is the steelseries siberia 200. It just stopped working. One minute it's working, then after a while headset stops working for an hour.

After several restarts, I can hear my friends again. But when I pulled the mic down, no sounds indicated the mic turning on played. I pulled it back up and silence. I can't talk to anyone. The mic is simply not working. I spent $150 on a headset that lasted me a month. Whereas my brothers bought a turtle beach set that has been working since the beginning of December. I'm keeping this review short. I've had this headset for a day so here are my initial observations.

Sound quality is great, and so is the surround system. Buttons on the headset are useless. The headset will bruise the top of your head. It's terrible cushioned. I tried putting socks and folded tissue papers to help but still can't get rid of the headache. Mic quality is good, and the mic also tucks away. The charging cable is long, which is useful if you want to keep using the headset when it needs to charge.

At this price range, I was disappointed when I received a device that would dig into my skull. So I'm going to give it a 4 star. This is assuming that the headset doesn't break after a month or 2 Connection issues after 6 months of normal use. The headphone will sometimes have sound on one side, or the other, or both, giving me nausea whenever it happens (all the time). It takes a good 5-10 minutes of turning the G933 on and off before it goes back to normal, if Steelseries siberia 200 lucky.

steelseries siberia 200

I'm trying to get Logitech to replace this headset as I'm writting this. Absolute trash, connection problems since day 1, requiring you to press the reset button inside the ear piece to get it to recognize that it exists. The ear pads are easy to knock off yet surprisingly difficult to get back on (making them very annoying). The weight distribution is really odd so that they actually fall off fairly easily should you look down or up. They have also developed an in ear connection issue so that sometimes sound only comes through 1 ear instead of both or is static filled (something I expect of cheap wired earphones, not expensive wireless ones).

If I could give this product a 0 I would, I am more disappointed with logitech than I believed I could be seeing as I have always enjoyed their products.

I am not someone who just hates Logitech as I use steelseries siberia 200 G910 kb, G502 mouse, G13 gamepad, and my wife uses their G910 kb, G13 gamepad, and G600 mouse, I honestly did not think they had it in them to make a product this absolutely horrible.

I have since replaced it with a HyperX Cloud headset and I recommend that absolutely no one buy this. Had them for over a year since my 930's broke, and wow if any of you had 930's before this headset is nothing like it.

930's were poorly build and had a ton of flaws that are absent here. The build quality is solid, I've drooped them, stepped on the and the headset is still perfectly fine.

I've had many previous headsets from gaming to normal audio ones, some more expensive some less and I must say i'm really impressed with the 933's the sound is absolutely incredible. However you do need to play around with Surround sound, it's a preference thing since there's two types of encoding but for Spotify music I recommend turning it off entirely. Biggest issue with the headset is the software, they had a few buggy variations but seems fine now.

I still do get the occasional bug where the headset is on but i hear no sound all but fixed with a simple on/off. Also REPLACE the default earpads, I loved the headset for steelseries siberia 200 while but could not use it for long since it hurt my ears I highly recommend "Replacement Cushion earmuff earpads Ear Pads cup cover pillow For Brainwavz HM5 HM 5 Headphones (black)" It takes a little force to put them on but ohh boy does it make a difference as well as provide incredible sound isolation.

Poor quality control by the vendor selling used. Please read the reviews from the vendor selling this item used, supposedly "like new". Inline cable came broken like they've been chewed on (see pictures).

The vendor did not even test if the headset actually works. I tried to use it with the chewed cable and sound only came out of one headphone ear. I ended up buying a brand new inline cable to see if it was the cans or the cable. After replacing the faulty cable, the headphones did end up working and they sound good. I can recommend the headset but NOT the vendor due to their false "like new" claim, and the lack of testing if the products they are selling used are actually functioning.

Please gamers, do your due diligence before buying and steelseries siberia 200 the vendor reviews over the last 6 month. If I had read the 33% poor reviews I would not have bought it from them and rather bought brand new. Update 11/23/18: After owning this headset for three years, the only additional problem I've had is that the padding in the top headband was extremely flattened after the heavy use.

Unfortunately, you cannot buy a replacement for the small headband, so I contacted Astro Support for a replacement. I was expecting to pay for the part as I am two years past the warranty. However Astro sent me the headband free of charge. I've only had to use Astro support two times over the three years and both times I had used the support, the service I received was excellent and fast, they get directly to the point and try to address the issue.

After using this headset almost daily for three years, I can honestly say that overall, it is the best headset I've purchased and used.

It has lasted longer than any other headset I've purchased, all the other headsets I've owned have broken from normal use and I am someone who takes excellent care of everything that I own.

I still highly recommend this headset and I definitely think that the price is justifiable for what you get in the long run. Update 7/20/17: This headset is still great almost two years later, but has had minor issues.

First I had issues on PC where the audio would cut out for a split second, causing the mic input to stop working until it was reset/unplugged, but it was fixed with a firmware update. Second and lastly, the stream port for the mixamp creates a buzzing noise, I bought the Mpow Ground Loop Noise Isolator and it solved the buzzing. I have also been looking for a wireless headset to use occasionally so I decided to try the Steelseries arctis 7's, and I was disappointed.

I had tried them for both PC and PS4, and both had issues where the right earcup was quieter than the left earcup, unless volume on the headset was maxed, using the volume control on the headset.

The sound also was not great on either system and I also tried the 7.1 surround on PC and was not impressed. I have also tried the Steelseries Siberias, the Sony Pulse Elite and Golds, Turtle beaches, and the old Astro a50s on PC and PS4. The Siberia's were too tight, I disliked the LCD on steelseries siberia 200 mixamp, the mic was good but had some bleed through into the headset (not sidetone), customer support was disappointing as I contacted them with an issue and did not receive a response.

I liked the batteries and the overall build quality did make them feel like a premium headset. The Sony headsets had good audio, simple to setup, but the mic quality was meager. The previous gen a50s were good, but the headset padding was very stiff compared to the a40 tr. The a50s also had an issue steelseries siberia 200 the headset wireless transmitter would cause a buzzing noise, which was highly irritating, but Astro did replace them for free.

The battery life could also be better on the a50s as well. The turtle beaches broke within a year, but it was an average headset overall. So after trying all of these headsets on the PS4 and PC, I decided that the a40 tr's were still the best overall headset for myself.

I found that every wireless headset had a drawback on one system or the other, excluding the a50s, or they had a a small compromise that I was not willing to settle with. With any headset, if you can update them via PC or console, do it frequently, as sometimes small issues can be fixed by an update. *I am willing to try the new Astro A50s as well as the new Sony Platinum headset.

If I do decide to try these headsets out I will update this review. Original review: I use these both for PS4 and PC and they work perfectly. I did have issues with my mic and contacted Astro and they sent me a replacement for free. Pros 1) This headset has steelseries siberia 200 best mic and audio quality for both Steelseries siberia 200 and PS4. 2) The mix amp is great and easy to use. 3) Only three cables for PS4 and two for PC, mic cable included. 4) Comfortable 5) Stream port- I am currently using these to stream on PS4 using an elgato capture card.

With a 3.5 mm cable, I connect it to my PC and change the audio input for the elgato software. It records all audio, including party chat and game volume. You can also tweak the volume in the software if you find that your voice, game volume, or your party volume is to low or high. Cons 1) Expensive, but the build quality is the best I have seen.

2) Software could use improvements. Maybe have profile sharing online for eq presets. Final thoughts- I have used many headsets and these are the best for both PC and PS4. I have tried the hyper Kingston cloud II's, the Steel Series H, the Sony pulse elite headset, and a pair of Astro a50's.

If you want to save money and only plan on buying a headset for PC I recommend the Kingston's. For PS4, the Sony headsets are good for sound quality, but the mic quality is not that great. But if you plan on using them for both PS4 and PC I strongly recommend the a40 tr.

They are more comfortable than the a50's and you do not have to worry about a buzzing noise that may occur. I also recommend the mod kit as it works great for reducing noise, but it isn't as comfortable over long periods of time. Before you use this headset, plug it into a computer via usb, (make sure it is in PC mode) and download the Astro software and update the Mix amp.

*Also if using with PS4 make sure to change your settings. Go into Sound and screen, then audio output settings and change sound to prioritize optical out. Change audio format to Dolby. Then go into devices, then audio devices and change output to headphones to chat audio. Also make sure that both input and output are set to usb (Astro mix amp pro) Bottom line- this headset was just what I was looking for, usable and great on both PC and PS4. I have reviewed and tried a lot of headsets and this headset is the best and it meet and exceeds my requirements.

I've been using the A40 TR headset steelseries siberia 200 about 10 months now, and I can happily say it's worth every cent of Astro's asking price. Initially the Sony PlayStation Gold headset was my main gaming headset, and I thought that was practically the pinnacle of gaming audio. Boy was I wrong. The first time I used this headset, was while playing a match on Overwatch. My initial impressions were really good to say the least, with the steelseries siberia 200 and enemy footsteps coming in with extreme detail.

It took awhile for me to get used to the enhanced audio, since I could hear things so much more precisely and clearly over my Gold headset. It's truly one of those experiences that I can't explain completely. As for the mic quality, my friends can definitely hear me clearly. Especially when I set the noise gate to "streaming," when using the Astro command center. The durability so far seems to be pretty good as well, even though the TR headset has a mostly plastic design.

Along with its good durability, comes good comfort. This headset is easily the most comfortable headset I've ever used, and I honestly mean that. I can have on my Astro headset all day, and not feel the slightest bit steelseries siberia 200 pain or discomfort. Regarding the presets, the EQ presets are a nice touch but admittedly I only really use the TR mode. (The one mode that lets you hear footsteps the most clearly).

If you don't like the Astro, Natural Bass, Balanced, or TR mode, then you can go on the Astro forums and use the other equalizer presets that people have created. I don't own the Astro A50 headset, so I can't compare its sound quality to the TR headset. But I do know that for me personally, this product has far exceeded my expectations. I'll keep this review updated, within time, in case something should go wrong for example.

But so far, I have nothing but praise =] Edit: 1yr & 3mo. later and these things are still working beautifully. PC & PS4 user here.

I like to stream through OBS to twitch, and using the Discord application on the PC allows our voices to transition to twitch streams no problem.

Unfortunately when playing PS4 and using the Elgato to OBS, it doesn't pick up your PS4 party's chat on your twitch stream. This can make your stream pretty dull and make viewers frustrated not knowing what you're talking about. Thanks to the Astro A40 and that wonderful mix amp I'm now able to get the PS4 party chat in my twitch stream. The amp connects to my PC (by AUX cord), and a couple setting changes on PS4 & OBS and it's working like a charm.

Perfect setup. As far as the headset goes: I've had turtle beach headsets in the past and they always died out on me fast and you could tell the plastic was inexpensive and not built to last.

The moment I put this headset on I stated "wow" at just how comfortable the foam ear covers are. Not only that, but no clamping power like the turtle beaches had that would give me a headache for about an hour use. The price tag makes you wonder -- but they really are worth the money if its within your budget. You'll spend the same amount on 2 turtlebeach headsets within 700 days.

I really want to love these, they are by far, the best headset I've had comfort wise with Second place being the Siberia elites which seems to no longer exist. Issues I've had with them is it's a real pain to get them working with the MixAmp and the quality of the Mic is lacking in comparison to the Siberia elites (I've had a lot of complaints from my mates.

However, saying that I'm very happy with the sound of the headset though I always turn off the surround sound as I'm not a fan, not sure why I got the MixAmp to be honest but why not have all the options there for me I suppose.Another one of my nit picks steelseries siberia 200 that everything is deceiving you think you've plugged it in fully but you haven't you have to apply quite a lot of force to plug the mic in and the cable that leads to the MixAmp, though not an issue it did have my stuck without sound for 20 minutes.

but enough down sides, imo I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a good pair of headphones but if the £200 is making you think about don't include the MixAmp and you'll see it's steelseries siberia 200 the £100. Another thing I want to mention is the ability to alter the earpieces direction and length? Is length what you would call that?

Not sure anyway they have a setting for just about anyone and my head is not the easiest head to comfort but you can really angle these up for the best fit my ears aren't exactly on the small side either but they fit nicely in the ear cups. So I did a lot of shopping around seeing as I wanted to invest in a good, long-lasting and comfy headset that would fit my rather large head. I was willing to part with extra cash to fit the above criteria and these kept cropping up on the recommendations so I thought I’d go for it.

I’m not really an ‘audiophile’ but I do spend a significant amount of time wearing these and I must say the quality and comfort are very good. Pros: 1. OOB experience was great. The packaging and presentation were very good and it came with all the required wires. 2. Managed to get them up and running nice and quickly.

The software is fine and lets you tinker with the equaliser settings and set your custom defaults easily. 3. The microphone quality steelseries siberia 200 excellent and even though I was sceptical about the detachable microphone, I have had zero issues with it yet. 4. I would highly recommend getting these with the Mix Pro amp as it makes volume adjustment that much easier.

5. They feel sturdy and well built. Very plasticy, but still solid. Cons: 1. One of the main selling points of this headset was the ability to use the game / voice dial whilst gaming and not have to manually adjust settings or forcibly mute certain people.

However, to get this working properly you MUST have the mix amp plugged into your PC with both a USB and Optical connection as it steelseries siberia 200 voice and game as 2 separate inputs. I didn’t really see this in the reviews and if you want this to work properly on your PC, you need to have an optical input, either on your MOBO or soundcard. I ended up having to buy a sound steelseries siberia 200 as my MOBO didn’t have optical (Creative Sound Blaster Z has been working great for me so far).

2. Having come from an old pair of USB Gamecom’s, Steelseries siberia 200 was expecting to have my world rocked by the sound quality. While I did see a slight improvement, I didn’t see £170 worth of improvement and now they have gone up even more in price. While pleased with my purchase I don’t think the price matches the performance but maybe that’s a testament to the quality of the Plantronic and not a fault of the Astro’s!

In summary, while very pleased with my purchase, they did take extra steps to get working to their full potential (on PC) and I would say that the price would be a tad high for the discerning user.

There are loads of options out there so make sure you shop around before settling. Astro Gaming A40TR Headset + MixAmp Pro so what can i say about this product as a streamer this headset ticks all the boxes it offers fantastic sound quality it can be used across any platform or linked between xbox/pc or ps4/pc what for me is its biggest benefit of this headset and amp.

Let's talk about the price, for me i feel like the price is a little over the top and this is the biggest factor buy or not to buy. Mix amp, if you buying this product the mix amp is a must it also resolved issue's with gaming on Xbox or PS4 and using obs at the same time and offers you more control and freedom while streaming.

the look of the product is fantastic but the biggest downfall to this fantastic headset is the microphone, it softens your voice causing pauses i would still recommend a steelseries siberia 200 mic for clear steelseries siberia 200 sound quality, that's why i give this product 4/5 stars i love the product but the microphone is poor.

I got those for my husband for our Anniversary back in 2018. Since then he has been using them daily. The sound quality on those is really good. He says they are the most comfortable pair he has ever had. My husband is so emotional steelseries siberia 200 he is playing and he ends up throwing everything against the wall.

These are very durable. He threw them more than once and because the parts are magnetic he can just put them easily together and resume gaming. He steelseries siberia 200 the mixamp. He can just turn the headphone on and off using that. Once it had messed up his steelseries siberia 200 settings and it won't work.

He downloaded the ASTRO software and everything was working again. I 100% recommend these for gamers. It is a fantastic Headset. First of all the sound audio is comfortable to listen to with a very good sound. When you have everything set up the sound quality makes you feel like you are in the game. With a 7.1 surround sound it is by far the best surround sound headset I have come across. The vocals are good as well as the bass. The quality of this headset is fantastic, it don't feel cheap but it feels as if it is built to last a long time.

At first it started with friends saying my mic must not be near my mouth, I could never figure it 9ut. Then one day I took the foam ball off and realized my mic was facing south, so I rotated it back but slowly over an hour it would rotate back south and people would complain again. Now 2 years later and the mic faces 180 degrees facing the complete wrong way.

It is now absolutely impossible for my friends to hear me, and at this point its rotated so far that if I attempt to steelseries siberia 200 it back I'm met with tons of resistance and as soon as I let go it springs back. You can see from the photo that the mic is faced completely the wrong way and if I could post a video I would to show how the mic won't even stay facing south anymore.Have steelseries siberia 200 buy a whole new headset now because of this.

Worst part is, it all still works I just can't use it because they used a bad design using a wound spring or whatever it is that's providing resistance that clearly over time unwinds causing it to rotate as it unwinds. Best headset I've owned, gone through 5 or so, sticking with this one. Had it for about a year now with no problems. UPDATE: right ear stopped working slowly over time, sound would cut in and out based on how the wires were oriented.

However went through customer service and they quickly were able to get me another headset replacement in the mail. BUT the brand new replacement had the exact same problem (one ear not working) right out of the box. Going the the RMA process for a second time now and hopefully it works out. UPDATE 2: after second round of RMA shipping, I got another brand new factory sealed headset that works perfectly. Hopefully this one will last more time than the previous one. Overall fantastic customer support if you do end up having an issue.

Would recommend. This product was great until the microphone decided to rotate 180 degrees in the other direction slowly over time. I did an extensive amount of research before ordering these headphones; I wanted something for console gaming (mostly PS4, some PS3 and Xbone) that steelseries siberia 200 fit my particularly large head.

It's hard enough finding a hat that fits, let alone headphones that won't hurt or break the bank. Man, am I glad that I went with these. The packaging itself is beautiful, and you feel like you're getting a much more expensive product. This package comes with two pairs of ear pads, and they're both beautiful and comfortable and just having this on your head feels like a dream.

steelseries siberia 200

A dream for large heads, I tell you! The braided cord helps alleviate any fears about accidentally murdering wires, which I worry about as I have done this in the past. Now, for the virtual surround sound stuff. This half works on the PS4, and I haven't tested it on any other system yet. I'm honestly not that into it; I prefer the sound quality of directly plugging into the controller.

I do wish these had controls for volume that worked all of the time (as usually they don't exactly work with the Steelseries siberia 200, although I haven't tried using them yet with VSS turned off but plugged in). The sound quality itself is immersive; I've played Horizon: Zero Dawn, Primal, Shadow of the Colossus, and Bloodborne with these and cannot imagine wanting anything more.

Hours of gaming steelseries siberia 200 not result in discomfort, and their solid build gives me enough confidence in them not breaking.

I love them, they're well worth the price tag. In term of bang for your buck, this is a great headset! I'm really happy with them.

The mic quality is quite good. It isn't broadcasting quality, but come on.let's be serious.we're playing online games for goodness sakes, haha. Everyone I spoke with said they could hear me crystal clear. As far as the sound goes, it's pretty darn good for the price range. I've steelseries siberia 200 to headsets that cost double and the sound is very comparable One of the things I love most about this headset is that it's low key.

You can take the mic off and head out on your commute and listen to tunes. I heard things in my music that I had never heard before! They are not completely noise cancelling.

I would say that cut out approximately 75% of the sound when there's no source of sound(ie music or a game). As soon as there's a sound source, the outside world no longer exists, haha. My only criticism is that the 7.1 surround sound doesn't work with the PS4. I can use it on my laptop, but I don't really game on my laptop, so not a particularly useful feature at the moment.

If someone has figured out a way to make the 7.1 work on PS4, I would love to hear about it! I was impressed with the sound quality on PC.

Test the speaker on YouTube speaker testing video. Love it. But when try to play game on PS4 Pro playing Assetto Corsa Competizione, the volume controller not functioning and the sound quality is not the same as on PC. I got a Logitech headset and I can hear engine sound of the car behind me or in Front of my steelseries siberia 200.

Using Logitech headset, the sound of the engine sound real but Cloud II sounds cheap. Very disappointed. Pros - long and high quality cable - sound test on computer is awesome on music video and 7.1 sound test - sound good on video conference either on a computer or plug directly to mobile phone - Plug and play on Windows 10 Cons - does not sounds good on PS4 Pro comparing to Logitech headset - don't have software on Computer to adjust the headset sounds - volume controller don't work on PS4 Pro Purchased these headphones exactly five months ago today.

I have always taken extreme care with these headphones returning them to their original box after each use. I am shocked to find that other reviews suggest they only last 5 months and sure enough today mine broke at exactly 5 months.

I am only getting sound out of the left ear rendering them useless. In my opinion, it's not the Legendary headset which everyone clamming it to be.

Yes built quality and material choice is good. But sound quality is nothing special. There is an ample amount of bass (not like Sony MDR series) and treble got slightly boosted after the firmware update. In game positional audio does work but not as good as Sennheiser HD 598 which a is lot more comfortable headphone imo. (open back headphones are always better at positional audio) But the most disappointing part is the 7.1 usb sound card, I tested with Netflix (reference movie- Transformers), if you turn on 7.1 (tested on netflix stereo and 5.1 settings) then the sound separation completely gets ruined, hyperX 7.1 algorithm is a failure.

Same goes for games. (Logitech headphones do a far better job in this area). The price which I paid doesn't justify the headphone but at lower price sure. My recommended gaming headphones- Sennheiser HD 598 (lacks bass, mic) or GSP 300.

(HyperX, Razer, Steelseries siberia 200 are nothing but a marketing company.) I previously had Logitech G35, M50x, Steelseries Syberia, and many more earphones, I also had the opportunity to use a lot of gaming headset at my work place. So I think I have some idea about headphones. But the sound is subjective, so I am only sharing my own opinion. (HyperX, Razer, Steelseries are nothing but a marketing company.) I previously had Logitech G35, M50x, Steelseries Syberia, and many more earphones, I also had the opportunity to use a lot of gaming headset at my work place.

So I think I have some idea about headphones. But the sound is subjective, so I am only sharing my own opinion. I was initially looking for a good wireless headset with long battery backup under 10K and did a lot of research, read a lot of reviews, made a list of officially available headphones on Amazon and Flipkart but found that all the wired headphones sound much better than wireless ones (even the wireless ones when connected through aux cable) and so finally ended buying a wired one and hope to use it with a wireless Bluetooth receiver.

I needed a headphone with good sound reproduction My primary Usage were listening music, watching movie, video/audio/Skype calls etc and gaming or basically I needed a headphone that can be comfortable for longer duration.

For a good sounding headphone we look steelseries siberia 200 Bass(low 20Hz-250Hz), Mids(250Hz-2KHz) and Treble(High 2KHz-20KHz). I needed a headphone with good natural sound reproduction (not favoring any particular frequencies like extra Bass etc) as these affects other frequencies and Sound Stage (Surround Sound Effects).

These are the headphones I finalized according to my budget. Wireless - SteelSeries Arctis 7 - best wireless ones in my budget, had good balanced sound with app support but these had their own USB transmitter (no Bluetooth). Can not use with mobile and fire stick unless I have the transmitter USB powered at all times.

Bulky than average and tight. Was only in my budget on Prime Day. I personally don't like these kind of headbands. Plantronics BackBeat PRO 2 - another good choice but its price never dropped and was not able to find any reliable seller.

There are lot of look alike fakes of headphones so I just wanted to get mine from reliable source. JBL E55BT, Skullcandy Grind, Skullcandy Hesh 3, Skullcandy Hesh 2 JBL, JBL T450 BT - Have mentioned them in order of how they sound. JBL E55BT being the best. These are all good Bluetooth headphones. Sennheiser HD 4.50 BT - Was only in my budget on prime day.

These headphones pack a lot of premium features but for all those the quality is just average. Bass is good on these while other sounds are average, Active Noise Cancellation is also average. They have very basic simple looks and tight fit (some user complained of pain after wearing steelseries siberia 200 long hours).

Unfortunately they were unavailable by evening on Prime day (I guess although labelled as deal of the day, they got sold our before day was over). Sennheiser HD 4.40 BT - Somewhat similar like Sennheiser HD 4.50 BT minius the ANC. Reviews say sound is more balanced on these but unfortunately no discount was given on these on Prime day or at least in time period when I was searching for headphones.

Sony MDR-ZX330BT, Sony MDR-XB650BT - Good ones but with Over bass (good for Bass lovers), Sony does not provide aux cable port for these. So these are purely wireless. I was looking for Sony MDR-XB950B1 but price never dropped to my budget. Wired - In wired we have lot of options with great sound and value for money. So we have to look for the ones matching our requirements. Audio-Technica ATH-M50x, Audio-Technica ATH-M40x - One of the best headphones under 10K. Exceptional well balanced sound reproduction.

Lacks any kind of audio button or control. No Mic so had to drop these from the list. But If I ever get a chance to buy headphone in future I will go for these. Sennheiser HD 598 SR - Steelseries siberia 200 is below average on these. Other things are good and even has Mic and I found it later.

But nothing exceptional to prove it value for money when already ATH-M series are there. SteelSeries Siberia 200 - Reviewers say these are the best budget wired gaming headset but couldn't find a likable color option and reliable seller.

Brainwavz HM5, Shure SRH440, Beats EP Wired, Sony MDR-7506, Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, Audio Technica ATH-M20x - Few other wired headphones in order based on sound.

Few have mics and few don't. I finalized on 4 headphones - Sennheiser HD 4.50 BT, HyperX Cloud, HyperX Cloud 2, HyperX Revolver. Sennheiser was unavailable by the time I reached a decision. Now comes my Review of HyperX Cloud 2 and why I choose it. Pros - - Wired Connectivity options (both 3.5mm and USB available) - Removable Mic - Additional Ear Cups - Tangle free braided cable - Definitely loud on same volume levels. Tried different headphones and earphone using same source and volume level and this was loudest.

- Strong and Sturdy build. You can feel the build quality by looking at the thick aluminum parts. Nice finishing too. - Well balanced sound. Good deep bass (with thump and punch but not over boomy) and Excellent Mids (well-balanced vocals and lead instruments). - Sounstage effect can be increased using the USB with box on PC to give 7.1 surround sound.

It definitely broadens the sound in games and movies. - Heavy padding on headband and ear cups. - Noise isolation is good. Blocks outside sound to some good level - Well balanced weight. Pressure is spread evenly around ears. - No tightness or clamping force felt while wearing. - Ability to control Mic and Audio volume and Mute through USB.

- Excellent Mic sound with boom. Speech recorded is clear, full, detailed and natural. Some reviews even say Mic on these are better than that of Arctis 7. - Last but most important, excellent in breathability and comfort. Can easily use for long durations without any problem. I have glasses and big ears and it was a smooth fit for me. My whole ear were completely under the ear cups.

Cons - - Although this is an upgraded version of HyperX Cloud the reviews say sound is almost similar so I paid the additional 2.5K only for USB connectivity and 7.1 surround sound box. - HyperX Revolver was priced too close to HyperX Cloud 2 in sale, and is slightly better sounding and definitely has better Soundstage. Still Cloud 2 is marginally better in Comfort and Build. - The aux cable length is small So, if you are not using the USB with box the cable falls short even using with laptop - The aux cable is not detachable.

- Without the USB 7.1 box when using with 3.5mm connection the Sound effect is just average - I observed that these leak sound too much, and if its not on head you can clearly hear the music playing like mini speaker at steelseries siberia 200 volume - Treble is just average. - 7.1 surround sound is useless for medium that doesn't support audio through USB input. - Although it is super comfortable, it is still bulky at 306 grams.

- I am not sure why but I was not able to find much sound difference between this one and Boat Rockerz 600 I used earlier. I was confused whether this can be called an upgrade. I will know more after using cloud 2 for some time. I will update my experience here after few months of usage. These were just my initial observations. I will update the Steelseries siberia 200 after using them for some time. UPDATE - After 2 months of Usage I have to say quality of this headset is very good especially the cables.

Looks like I just brought them yesterday. The memory foam on ear cups have adjusted well for my years. I rarely used the USB 7.1 surround sound. It does not seems to do much. Sound is great. UV. 5.0 out of 5 stars Ultimate Guide to buying headphones below 10K.

Bulky steelseries siberia 200 average and tight.

They have very basic simple looks and tight fit (some user complained of pain after wearing for long hours). Unfortunately they were unavailable by evening on Prime day (I guess although labelled as deal of the day, they got sold our before day was over).

Sennheiser HD 4.40 BT - Somewhat similar like Sennheiser Steelseries siberia 200 4.50 BT minius the ANC.

Sennheiser HD 598 SR - Bass is below average on these. Other things are good and even has Mic and I found it later. But nothing exceptional to prove it value for money when already ATH-M series are there. SteelSeries Siberia 200 - Reviewers say these are the best budget wired gaming headset but couldn't find a likable color option and reliable seller.

Steelseries siberia 200 HM5, Shure SRH440, Beats EP Wired, Sony MDR-7506, Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, Audio Technica ATH-M20x - Few other wired headphones in order based on sound. Few have mics and few don't.

steelseries siberia 200

Cons - - Although this is an upgraded version of HyperX Cloud the reviews say sound is almost similar so I paid steelseries siberia 200 additional 2.5K only for USB connectivity and 7.1 surround sound box.

- Without the USB 7.1 box when using with 3.5mm connection the Sound effect is just average - I observed that these leak sound too much, and if its not on head you can clearly hear the music playing like mini speaker at medium volume - Treble is just average.

I will update the Review after using them for some time.

After ordering this product the first time and it not appearing I contacted amazon, to complain. Three times I ordered it and it was ‘lost’. I understand that this may be the courier and not HyperX. However, eventually the product arrived; after 3 days the left headphone only played very quietly, sent them back to get a replacement only for the exact same thing to happen but with the right ear speaker instead, a month after them being replaced so a steelseries siberia 200 is not available.

I understand that these headphones have a fantastic reputation, however with my experience they are of poor quality, I wouldn’t be surprised if the manufacturer have changed suppliers or production in some way. After comparing these headphones to the supposed exact replica my partner’s sister’s bought a year ago, the sound quality is incredibly different unfortunately (even in the working headphone) Don’t be fooled by all the positive reviews, I suspect they are for a previously better made version of these headphones!!!

However, I must say a good point about these headphones is that they are increably comfortable and look fantastic! This is the best headset by far that works with the PS5 and is very very comfortable not like the PULSE! You can have this headset on for hours without feeling any fatigue at all.

It is excellent for FPS and it also features 7.1 surround sound but tbh your better of not using that for gaming, but movies sound excellent with it on. This headset is definitely way better than the SONY PULSE HEADSET that is made for the PS5, it also works with the 3D sound on the PS5 and this is cheaper, you don't have to worry about charging it as it is wired.

The wire is just over 3 meters long and has the sound card built into it with headset volume and mic volume and has the 7.1 surround sound steelseries siberia 200 right in middle for easy control. It also comes with spare cloth earpads for the headset and a bag to keep I all in. I would definitely recommend this to any PS5 owner as it is a minefield out there atm and until the next gen headsets are out this is definitely the best choice.

(HyperX, Razer, Steelseries are nothing but a marketing company.)I previously had Logitech G35, M50x, Steelseries Syberia, and many more earphones, I also had the opportunity to use a lot of gaming headset at my work place.

So I think I have some idea about headphones. But the sound is subjective, so I am only sharing my own opinion. In my opinion, it's not the Legendary headset which everyone clamming it to be. I won't write review but I will give tips to get most out of it. Buy any of these software if you use it in PC. It will uplift your audio by multifold. 1) Dolby Access OR 2) DTS Sound Unbound Buy any of these if possible as both of them soud similar. Don't worry, I have tried both!

EDIT: 14th April, 2022. I've decided to add Review based on usage of around 1.5 years! I'll be straightforward here so keep reading. 1.Footsteps are very clear. You will be amazed. 2. Surround is good ( It reaches different level if used with any above mentioned software) 3. 7.1 is your portable home steelseries siberia 200 🎭. 🍿 It creates theatre like effect with thumping bass. Yes you read it right. ( Movie must be Dolby 5.1 or DTS encoded ) 4. It gives super premium quality cable.

5. It is comfortable headphone for sure, make sure to keep it properly after using to prevent damage of foam due to moisture & dust. 6. Audio is deep and clear. Thumping exists and totally depends upon volume level of your software and PC. 7. General Caution not related to this headphone.

So we have to look for the ones steelseries siberia 200 our requirements. Audio-Technica ATH-M50x, Audio-Technica ATH-M40x - One of the best headphones under 10K. Exceptional well balanced sound reproduction. Lacks any kind of audio button or control. No Mic so had to drop these from the list. But If I ever get a chance to buy headphone in future Steelseries siberia 200 will go for these.

Sennheiser HD 598 SR - Bass is below average on these. Other things are good and even has Mic and I steelseries siberia 200 it later.

Now comes my Review of HyperX Steelseries siberia 200 2 and why I choose it.

You can feel the build quality steelseries siberia 200 looking at the thick aluminum parts.

- Without the USB 7.1 box when using with 3.5mm connection the Sound effect is just average - I observed that these leak sound too much, and if its not on head you can clearly hear the music playing like mini speaker at medium volume - Treble is just average.

I will update the Review after using them for some time.

Warum?

J'espère vous avoir convaincu ;) Preface to say, this 4 star rating is only because I have a massive head, like literally. Not fat or anything, I just cannot find a hat that fits me. I'm absolutely sure this will not affect you, unless you knowingly have a head that does not fit any hat you've ever tried.

The issue for this product arose that i'd feel my head being squished by the headset, which led to initial discomfort. I'd often swap back to just using my speakers because my head was aching from wearing it for so long. However, as continued use got on, either it turned my head into an meat accordion to make itself fit, or i just stretched it out with my immensely obtuse cranium use.

Either way, the discomfort went away after about a week or two. Sound quality is absolutely stellar. I've almost overdosed on heavy bass at least 5 times since I got it. Outgoing verbal quality is also amazing, so my friends have said- although, there was a brief period where my outgoing audio was not good. I figure it was just a loose connection, so i took apart and reconnected everything and i've not had a single issue since- (In retrospect, my friends discovered it's entirely possible audio was going through my webcam mic instead).

I ordered this headset about two months ago, and the quality that it has so far bestowed me with is probably the best i've ever experienced, then again, i've never shelled out this much for a headset/mic in the past, so it was to be expected. Unsure? thinking of checking many a forum to find the right answer? Just buy this. I've extensively asked many different people/communities what they think the best for the money is, and they're all pointing to this. It's probably definitely worth the money.

AbeBooks Books, art & collectibles Amazon Web Services Scalable Cloud Computing Services Audible Download Audio Books DPReview Digital Photography IMDb Movies, TV & Celebrities Shopbop Designer Fashion Brands Amazon Business Everything For Your Business Prime Now 2-Hour Delivery on Everyday Items Amazon Prime Music 90 million songs, ad-free Over 15 million podcast episodes
